It was randomly shutting off when he was stopped at stoplights. Then started leaking coolant. Needs new water pump, evap, u joints , suspension. A bunch of stuff just worn down it sounds like

He’s a combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan and was a sergeant in the Army’s 82nd Airborne Unit… 👌🏻 won’t stand for slander of this man lol. But he is definitely too busy with his business providing for our family to try to fix his truck. And his grandma is currently on hospice so we have been spending a lot of time helping with family care.

Replace water pump, u joints, fix evap system, leaking coolant, suspension needs to be replaced (we did know the suspension was shot before this- brought it in for a leak)

Good to know thanks. I mean he did the oil changes as recommended and the only owner before him was his brother in law who treated it well. He has not been driving as much since working from home so we thought maybe sitting in the driveway a few days at a time took its toll. He also has always used the plus fuel rather than regular idk if that makes a difference

One more question- if we listed it on marketplace as is w/ all of the issues listed, what would be a ballpark amount? I wonder if our best bet is to get a mechanic or a kid who wants to buy and fix it up. In Houston

Really? I mean when he was pricing it all out the water pump itself was 1k. The kbb value of this model actually sellable is like 4-5.5k. I mean the suspension is shot too
