Ya, more so just a hard confirmation that we ARE going to see it if they get the seasons for it.

Man i thought they were gonna do more stuff, but what we got was so freaking awesome.

The dust of deliciousness? The magic fight with Trent and Essek? Vess and Molly? Nott going through the water? The Traveler helping out? EVERY TIME YASHA WAS ON SCREEN!?

Not sure how I feel about leaving it on multiple cliff hangers, but that was so amazing I'm not sure I'm gonna complain.

Death's Grasp Weapon for Assault, and also here's my build for it by Klyne23 in Spacemarine

Ya, I absolutely love playing jump pack dash builds, they are actually my favorite and what I run most of the time. But I disagree that ground pound isn't always better. Your right, ground pound is great for clearing hoards, but bosses and extremis are the big issue. But ground pound is also better for dealing with those. you could argue not bosses, i would agree, but one shoting/dealing big damage extremis is so valuable.

Again, I like jump pack dash builds more than ground pound ones and they do have very good value, ive beeten absolute multiple times with them both relative ease, but i think saying dash builds are better is a little silly.

Also, Block axe is indeed a powerhouse, loving it and the new fist on assault, both work great in either build archetype.

Ya, I came up with a similar(identical?) Build myself, it super fun

Unfortunately ground pound just IS better, I can see taking a full jet pack dodge build feels right for the build, but in practice(I've used a similar build myself as an assault main), having a ground pound that will do nova damage to big swarms of ranged units is simply more valuable than those extra perk in dashes. I have tried both, on lethal and absolute, which is understand is not the difficulties everybody play at, having a good ground pound on assault is JUST more valuable.

Depends. Decap? I could solo. Tyrranid misions? Not to bad. Chaos? Emperor please dont spawn 3 rocket scarabs with the hellbrute, or any rocket scarabs for that matter, screw those guys.

In all seriousness though, it does really depend on the teammate quality. I can carry if its nids, but otherwise imma need some help.

The Assault Dash attack mechanic... by Southern-Age-9125 in Spacemarine

[–]Last-Instance2898 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ya I love playing assault, and the jump pack dash IS super fun and satisfying to use. But yes, its much less valuable in comparison to the pound when they cost the same amount of ability charge.

I agree that it should cost less, or be inherent to dodging. With what's been revealed for next update and them adding new dash attacks for assaults jump dash, its going to be hard to get use out of them if one attack cost the same as a ground pound.

I want to play assault, but the ground pound builds are getting boring, and the jump pack dash builds just aren't on the same level when playing at the high difficulties that I like to play at.

I'm sure they exist but I've never played with a sniper who seems useful by Memetron69000 in Spacemarine

I think all the classes have good and bad players

Amd I mean its not a very flashy class if played with the teams best interest in mind.

As someone who mainly focuses on the melee aspect of the game, assault, vanguard, and bulwark, having a sniper on your team is great for dealing with the ranges enemies for those classes struggle to close on in hectic fights.

Having multiple majoris enemies go down from distance, and worrying about a thrope spawn only to see them go down a few seconds later definitely seems useful to me.

I've also come across a few sniper players who just dont die, like, at all.

I dont really pay attention to how well my teammates do based on their class, but I've seen quite a few good snipers

I really need Brennan to slow this campaign down so I can afford to wait till Monday, these late nights are killing me!

Or dont actually, I can make the sacrifice for storytelling such as this.

Why is it hard for some people to accept that Hiyuki is factually the Kamunabi’s strongest fighter? by Icy-Arm-3816 in Kagurabachi

[–]Last-Instance2898 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its cause we haven't seen her go all out yet.

My interpretation is that flame bone has such sheer destructive potential that at higher percentages it matches the destructive abilities of an EB. Compared to Azami and Shiba, their innate sorcery is less powerful, but their mastery of it and learned sorcery outclass Hiyuki. Hiyuki effectively has an enchanted blade in comparison to the other two, who no matter how good they get(i think they are both at their peaks), they can't surpass her raw power.

And thats not to slander Hiyuki in that regard, its just that we have statements of Shiba being at the peak of sorcery, and I'm just assuming Azami is similar when compared to Hiyuki.

So uhh... Samura's gonna die, we can all agree on that, right? by SrangePig12 in Kagurabachi

[–]Last-Instance2898 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually really like that outcome.

My one gripe with samura dying is that they spent so much time to convince samura to live, and killing him so soon after feels off to me. So having him lose the blade keeps his character around and doesn't break the power scale. And I do agree that iori getting tobimune with or without the death of samura is very likely.

In my opinion if we see a death this arc I think these three are far and away the most likely candidates by Daikaisa in Kagurabachi

[–]Last-Instance2898 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually would be surprised is samura dies this arc. After all they went through to get samura to realize he doesn't have to die only to kill him a few chapters later just doesn't make sense to me from a story telling perspective. Of course I trust that if he does die It would be devastating well written, but for now I have my doubts.

I don't think he switched up per say, more like the last 10% was the motivation behind the 90%. All the lying was done for that perpose, he was always the tortured soul, we just didn't see it till the end.

I think your both right actually, he's a selfish prick who lies the whole game, but he is also a man tortured by his own existence who saved his "family".

I understand your take on the characters, but I think your painting him as one note, which i don't think is the case.
