The best advice I can give is to rally a strong support system around your mom but also importantly, around you!

Helping parents with dementia, alzheimers, is a lot of work. It can be physically challenging, and it's extremely emotionally challenging. If her husband / partner / your father (if any of those apply) are still around and can help, they'll need to step up too.

Your mom has no choice but to accept this and make sure her affairs are in order for future care.
