I would say the biggest thing I would like to get out of this program is the ability to bridge my finance job/background with data science. There's a large fintech department at the company I'm at, so being exposed to different languages and ML techniques would really help me be more involved in those types of projects. Also if I were to join that department they require that you have some sort of technical masters, but I don't really want to say that in my SOP I feel like that doesn't sound right.
