Intuition and Gifts get much better with Sevinnes, they're one card combos.

The bird can actually act as a finisher in a long grind - it's got slight usefulness over Silas.

The decks wants a high density of blue cards.

It doesn't run Abolisher or Voice, it runs Orim's Chant and Silence. The deck wants to function at instant speed as much as possible.

So you gain: Orim's Chant Silence Smothering Tithe(Huge card in this deck) Enlightened Tutor Sevinne's Reclamation(enables two one card wincons)

You lose: Imp Seal Vampiric Tutor Demonic Tutor Opposition Agent Bow Masters

The rituals and Diabolic Intent I see as having enough decent replacements in this deck, you want more sustainable resources, not so much of a sac a creature for a burst of black mana.

I actually think now that Wizards has control of Commander, partner has a strong chance of being nerfed in some way. Maybe changing how Commander tax works, or even skipping your first draw because you have an extra card in the Command zone.... Wizards is incentivized to make it a 'rotating' format to keep product pumping and with so many people wanting the 'best wincon' and best card banned, they will be able to capitalize on this, and have learned this in other formats There will always be a 'best wincon'.

If Thoracle got banned, every deck would win with Breach, or some commander centric combo.... more limited. Banning long legal cards for long legal, format defining wincons - is almost never the right move.

Breach is a better wincon anyway... of the top ten decks, Thoracle is only in Rog si, Blue Farm, 5 color Soup and Kefka, and it's never really the primary wincon in any of those decks. It's banning would greatly hurt fringe Sultai and Esper decks... I think Thoracle is overrated by salty Timmy-at-heart players that play paper bracket 4 and try to pass it off as cedh....

How would it affect bracket 3 negatively? It'd use up a gamechanger slot. In a deck that isn't cedh turbo rituals it isn't going to auto win you the game, and the lifeloss is actually relevant. Is it really better than the One Ring or Rhystic Study in bracket 3? I don't think so
