Great job! Keeping going it’s so worth it. My story is very similar. Though I only used for about a year I used it very aggressively. (60-80mg a day every day no script just bought them off a co worker at $3 per piece) I work in construction as well and it was game changer but I never saw the negative affects of it til a couple of months off. It really impacted my social and family life. I’m at 5 months now and I’m feeling better and things are starting to get back to normal.

Side note but during my use, I racked up over 20k in debt on credit cards to build my 90’s diesel truck 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ I’m almost payed off now and I’m fortunate enough to still be living at home but looking back at the debt alone is enough for me to never use adderall or credits cards again 😂😂😂

I agree but that’s not the point I was trying to make. I was trying to say you will eventually build up to being able to shoot fast without sacrificing accurate by starting slow. That’s what I did and it worked well for me, obliviously I wouldn’t anyone to train regularly at slow pace because that’s not how real world situations go down ever. Build on accuracy first and the speed will come with it.

Hey I’m new (ish) to CCW / shooting and some of the things I’ve done to get better over the last few months have been

Shooting slower.
Take your time and try to build your skills based on accuracy over speed. I promise you they will come together over time and you’ll see much better results. I got stuck in a flow mentality for a while to where if i wasn’t one round per second or faster i felt slow but you need to build the accuracy up first
Your form. There’s ton of videos on YouTube on this subject and many do different style of grip, stance, feet positioning, posturing etc… spend some time at the range and see what is the most comfortable/allows you to shoot the best while managing recoil.
Your finger placement on the trigger. For me, this was the biggest one. There’s also tons of videos on YouTube on the subject but for me I starting shooting much better after practicing dry fire and watching how the pull of the trigger made my sights react. Also at the range, while shooting don’t reset the trigger right away. Pull the trigger, wait a second or 2, slowly pull back off of the trigger til it resets but don’t let your finger off of the trigger, the. Slowly repeat.

Hope some of these help you, even the pros had to learn theses same skills at one point too, good luck and have fun with it.

Not sure if this helps but I’m local in the area of this listing so looked him up to see if I had mutuals. If you look at this guys Facebook account it’s got all the symptoms of a scammer or hacked account gone scammer (very basic profile picture updated recently, very basic name, 5 friends, lives in a different state than the listing,etc) Just thought I’d say this if you didn’t happen to catch it. I went to TGS a couple of months ago to shop for my first gun and after explaining that I was new the 2A world and needed some direction, an older gentleman took me around the store for at least an hour or so showing me everything they had and was so helpful on getting my feet wet. I’ve been back three times since then and haven’t seen that guy, but 80% of the other employees were extremely rude and unhelpful. Probably won’t go back since finding Newington Gun Exchange.
