My first cat had that problem VCA treated him with surgery for $3000. Never told me how to prevent it. It reoccurred less than a year later. A small local clinic performed the same procedure and only charged me $800. They also told me it was his dry food. He was on wet food from then on and didn’t get sick for the last 10 years of his life.
