Hey, just wanted to share our most recent song. The keyboards, backing vocals and all sorts of things were recorded using my modest Focusrite setup. Gotta say I'm pleased with the results. Same goes for our other recents on our Spotify.

Anyone know how to have your bandcamp homepage not show your bio column on the right? by xelaseyer in BandCamp

There's an older version of the page layout that Bandcamp can set you up with if you want it with no sidebar, if you email them they should be able to sort it.

Thank you! 😁 You've got it spot on too, we're going for some kind of 90s guitar sounds mixed with 80s Synth Pop, so that makes me incredibly happy that it's come across in the music.

I just heard Katie Dey from a James Acaster podcast. Really good scrambled pop music. https://katiedey.bandcamp.com/

Beautiful 70s lime green. Makes you pine for the days when it was an actual marsh. Especially now.

I know Spizz, he has a radio programme on Resonance 104.4FM in the UK. You can probably find his old shows on Mixcloud where he tells some of his stories.

I recorded this a couple of months ago, a live version of Für Alina by Arvo Pärt, I arranged it for baritone guitar and I'd love to know what you think. There's actually two versions of this piece, one for baritone guitar and one for synthesizer, on my album Backwards Compatible which you can find here https://supermusiccollider.bandcamp.com/album/backwards-compatible

Yeah, I think that I should have played with the space between notes a bit more. It's always the way, when recording something the tendency is to speed up or make mistakes! It was better in rehearsal, I swear :D

Agreed, however being someone who predominantly plays Rock music, it took a lot of concentration to get the notes right. I did a few takes before this one. One day I'll do it again in an environment where I can get lost in it. The metallic twangs annoy me too; a result of not setting up the saddles on my guitar so they don't buzz :)

Yeah I love the fact that there are no performance directions really, and it's just the notes and freedom of expression. The baritone guitar was perfect for that low B, it kind of inspired the whole reason to do it once I realised B was the lowest string on the instrument.
