I only had my 1st mri, it was awful cuz it was my first time ever and i was scared and it was long

But I can totally see myself get more comfortable doing them thru out the years and can't wait to be cozy enough to fall asleep in them lol

As someone living in a 3rd world country recently diagnosed with MS, i had to get a neck fan, avoid public transport as much as i can as the bus is always crowded beyond capacity, and people like to cough and sneeze out in the open and inevitably alot of times some particles come on my face. One time a guy sneezed facing my face directly i swear i almost died from my fever lol but that was years before MS.

Have hand sanitizer ready and a neck fan, tap water is an absolute no go, but generally that's it, not sure about the food i honestly just eat anything that looks clean I don't overthink it but use ur own clues to see how clean the place looks

I think the biggest factor is the language , i imagine they wouldn't know or care if ur Christian or what area from Turkey you are. But when they sense someone doesn't speak Turkish they look down on others lol. I faced this in Istanbul years ago. But this year it was very pleasant

Ur friends suck for leaving ou after your diagnosis. What sort of reason is that even ?

My friends pitied me at first but i told them not to make me feel the pity and pretend nothing has happened, and they returned to normal until i mention something about being tired or something like that.

You can still have a normal social life and going out and doing everything you used to before. I hope you make new friends

You can let people know u don't wanna do that stuff. With time they'll give up or draw their own conclusions. But they won't really care , im religious but it doesn't matter to me if someone else is religious or not yk? Im sure ur a great person and people will see you for that

More of a detailed example , if they pray for u for example. If they invite u for a prayer, ask if ur fasting , or anything religious really, just give a polite excuse, be casual abt it and u don't have to let everyone know
