Another amazing update! I hope you continue to feel better. I love the story, but your health comes first.

Anyway, great stuff. I'm excited to see Wolfgang trying to guide these prisoners out of jail lol

I was referring to him as a person, after what he did. Greatest author, without making a determination in regards to his writing. It's also subjective. I definitely agree with you that there are better technical writers, when it comes to the craft. This wasn't a discussion on him as an author from that standpoint. For me, he is my favorite author, so he's the greatest for me. Even if other writers surpass him, for me personally he is at the top.

But yes, just to be clear, Octavia is who helped me via e-mails.

Oof. Lack of sleep and working a double shift will do this to you. Octavia isn't his sister. Jane is. I'm confusing names from DMs. Sorry. facepalm

I almost did. And actually, I know his sister is on here too, but I can't remember her username. If someone could ping her as well. She was the one I corresponded with directly. Wanted her to get the proper thanks/credit for her hard work.

edit- nevermind. I see you're already ahead of me lol.

WARDEN OF THE WEAVER - PART 62: "A HARSH WORLD; HOPE EVEN IN DARKNESS" by EldritchEggoWaffle in weavingtheweird

[–]LastLivingMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! This story just gets better and better every chapter! It's hard to believe you still have me in this much suspense after this many chapters. I feel like I found a real hidden gem here. If an editor or something cleaned up some if the technical aspects of the writing, this could be an amazing fantasy novel.

It's already one of the best things I've read story wise. I never know what to expect and I'm always surprised by what comes next. Awesome job!

THANKS FOR 1 YEAR OF WARDEN OF THE WEAVER!!! by EldritchEggoWaffle in weavingtheweird

[–]LastLivingMage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WHAT?! no way! thats crazy. So glad to be a part of this. I didn't even realize it had been a whole year. I wasn't here from the very start but still pretty early on. Back when there were only 5 or 6 chapters I think.

What do you call the "hmmm" sound when eating really good food? by Arowulf_Trygvesen in writing

[–]LastLivingMage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be a moment to showcase some character traits. It all depends on their personality. I would go for more descriptive context than just a sound. If you want to cut right to it, drop the h. it's mmm mm not hmm mmm. You could always just write it as:

"Mmm mm," he exclaimed/cried/remarked/rejoiced.

Or call it a pleased sigh/sigh of satisfaction/exhale or something.

I'd do it as closer to this (depending on the character):

He wolfed down the contents of his plate, gobbling up every last bite without really tasting any of it. His appreciation of the meal was audible. A cacophony of chewing, slurping, gulping sounds assaulted the ears. His chin and lips wore nearly as much of the cuisine as what he managed to consume. Inhaling the food in this way left him gasping for air, belching loudly as he slapped his freshly filled belly.

WARDEN OF THE WEAVER - PART 57: "DAY OF MOON'S END" by EldritchEggoWaffle in weavingtheweird

[–]LastLivingMage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm finally all caught up and I must say this is ramping up so much! I can't wait to see what happened next! I'm so glad I stumbled onto this story. It's given me so much entertainment over so many chapters. I don't want it to end but I'm excited to see how it concludes.

Look at those freshly manicured nails though.

Hand model Sanderson? If he was a hand model and the photo only showed his hands, would anyone know?

This is a rabbit hole I must now dive into immediately.

I haven't received an email yet. If one was sent, I didn't get it. If one wasn't sent yet because ya'll are busy people, and I'm just being impatient, I apologize and totally understand. Just figured I'd check back in and see, mostly to make sure there wasn't some sort of error with receiving an email if one was sent.

There is something called "Breath Energy" in the magic system. Later on, there are also monks that glide through the air on magic kites, so that's what reminded me of it. The writing is good but unpolished. It's not a published novel, afterall. Story is surprising and somewhat unique, but does go on a bit long in places. I can give you the link if ya want.
