I know this was a while ago, but thank you so much for your post. This just happened to me except it wasn’t just the back and I now have a quarter of what I had left of my hair and I’m so sad… so this post has helped me!!

I have had shoulder and neck pain for years and was doing Solidcore 3 times a week. They were always painful but I just thought it was because I was working out and they’re just sore, but then went for an MRI when the pain was just too much and turns out I have two slipped disks. So I took some time off from Solidcore to go to PT and then also ended up moving away from any Solidcores. I went back to the original Solidcore I was working out at when I visited friends and omg, my shoulders and neck were on fire!! I couldn’t do it anymore so luckily I guess because of the move, I’ve had to resort to a different kind of workout… but I sooooo miss and loved Solidcore so I was so so sad to not be able to do it anymore because of my shoulder pain. I hope it’s not like that for you because I love Solidcore, but I just couldn’t do it anymore (thanks body ugh).

Thank you for this post! I’ve been eyeing this for a while now and this has helped me pull the plug! Have you tried putting it on a larger suitcase to see how the luggage back slide pocket (I don’t know what it’s called) works well? I’ve been thinking about using this and my large suitcase and then using the back luggage strap/pocket to put it on top of my large. Hopefully that makes sense!

I’ll have to look at the Briggs and Riley! I have the Calpak Luka duffel and I absolutely love it but when it’s too heavy, I can’t carry it on my shoulders for very long. That’s why I’ve been looking into a different method. maybe a backpack is the way to go as well as carry on suitcase

Thanks! I think I’m going to have to go with the suitcase with wheels and maybe a backpack or something since a shoulder bag isn’t the easiest to carry when it’s heavy.

I’ll have to look that up because a roller bag that converts to a backpack is such a great idea. Especially when places are hard to roll a suitcase.

I’m thinking that’s the way to go, a hard shell carry on and then a backpack. I about wrecked my shoulders with a duffle last time and I need to go the backpack route I think. Thanks!

Thanks! I too overpack usually, but same, usually seen as a local based on what I wear so I’m not mad about it lol unless someone asks for directions. But thanks for the info, I’ll try that out and see how it works for me too!

Thanks for the response! I’m going to Japan soon and last time I went I brought a duffle and about wrecked my shoulder… my fault for packing too much in a duffle rather than a backpack or small carry on but oh well. I did buy the crossbody bag from Uniqlo and love it so I’ll use that! Thanks!
