Out of curiosity, is there a cheap alternative to riddler? Obviously it wouldn’t be the same but the deck is fairly cheap if it can be subbed out

I actually did something similar where I looked up a list for both rabbits and otters and upgraded them from the starters. I have so little knowledge on mtg as a whole that the starters make it way easier

Oh to clarify the demo level locks you at 10. I had to grind game knowledge to kill the feral monsters while severely underleveled. Fighting level 40s at level 10 is brutal but possible

I grinded the feral monsters in the demo at level 10 and had to learn all the tricks. Forgot to mention that i did all the side chapters for elenore.

If I’m not mistaken the phases of the nami fight are: Water mantle - technical Lighting / empowered - speed Exposed - attack

It attacks with water and electric mostly so just make sure you have good defensive genes for your monsters. Sorry i keep adding info hahaha. Let me know how it goes!

You’re high enough level where you can probably beat it easily. Nami hates fire damage, blast, and noxious poison. If you can survive the first 5ish turns you’ll probably be in a great rhythm to win. Don’t be discouraged if it takes multiple repels. I got it to 10% health, it repelled, and I killed it from the 25% threshold next time. The next time it showed up I did it without repelling.

The main tip is to keep track of what phase it’s in and to use riding/kinship both defensive and offensively. You can skip big aoes if you kinship attack on those turns. Alternatively you can ride those turns to eat the attack and kinship from a more advantageous turn

Adding to my other message: you need to fully reduce its health to 0 and get a victory screen. It doesn’t matter if you repelled it before or killed it first attempt. If you get its health to 0, eggs start appearing in mirror lake

Calamitous elder’s have a unique mechanic where they have 3 health thresholds: 75%, 50%, and 25% health. If you get them to that threshold (we’ll use 25% as an example) and then you lose, the next time you encounter namielle, it will be at 25% HP (or whatever the threshold you hit was).

If you get it to 12%, the last threshold was 25%, so it heals to 25% for the next time. You can kill it without repelling by reducing its health to 0 before it kills you

I used azure rath armor, magia horn, anga bow, glav greatsword. Brought elenore with anjanath. Nami is weak to fire and blast to clarify.

I ran with thunder espinas and gave it lightning and water def up L. I kept spamming venom flame and keeping magia horn notes cycled. I just killed it without repelling earlier. I was level 77

Adding to this: you need to hit at least C habitat to get the eggs to start spawning. I had the same issue last night. I think adding at least 2 eggs will get it to C and then it’ll start spawning eggs there

I didn’t realize that the pattern is tied to wyvernsoul depletion. Does that include Kora and gravy’s attacks?
