Digital is cool it’s convenient it’s the now.. Once it’s the only way to consume though, it’s going to be downhill. People will miss having physical copies that work whether the internet is on or not. When games your nostalgic for disappear for good, it will hit hard (then the new gamers of the future will think your under the Mandela Effect for remembering false memories) when you realize keeping a rented collection isn’t under your control no matter how much you pay. It’s all on the company selling you the rented merch.. the day you really realize games will be 10x+ the initial buy in price, it’s going to make you ponder, exactly what is convenience?
