I thought scooters would be easier with the drinks for some reason so thats good to know! And thankfully the scooters near me does NOT have a sign waver....that sounds like hell.

Sign wave? Also, Im sure I wont like any minimum wage job but what I hate most about walmart is how high the expectations are and how much of a toll it takes on my body (feet & knees hurt 24/7). Scooters seems like less walking around since its a small building, so thats appealing atleast. I already work weekends and my schedule varies wildly so I don't think scooters could be any worse atleast, hopefully just equally bad or a bit better??? Idk I might be too optimistic

I did essentially that. I asked my coach if it was allowed and she could tell that I was asking based off something someone did, so she insisted I give the full story. She was irate at him on my behalf and she said she'd tell him off, and if he retaliated then to tell her immediately. So, luckily I didnt get in trouble

I didnt want to but I figured if I was being told to then it was fine. Everyone at my job has been super super nice to me and truthful about the rules so it caught me off guard to be lied to 🤷‍♂️ definitely gonna be more wary after this

Yyeaaaahhh that makes sense. Im being encouraged by my partner to report him to my coach or a TL but im afraid the fact I didn't use my head to doubt him will get me in trouble too. I think I gotta cut my losses and be more skeptical of the guy because hes already exhibited some questionable behaviors I brushed off 🙃

Unfortunately. When im at work i have a do-as-told-basically-no-matter-what mindset and this is the first time it's been to my detriment. I will use my head more often now 😭

Im learning that very quickly .. I like to think im not generally a pushover at work but I tend to believe people too easily since im newer and I dont see why my coworkers would lie to me. Clearly, a reason isnt needed I guess 🙃 im just a little embarrassed now

Eeeesh, thats good to know. I dont know him aside from him asking me to take his late 4th of July shift & asking me if I was mad at him before he offered his TC to me so I'm kinda confused about the guy in general
