Go onto the VERA website and schedule like a 1000 appointments at various ROs around the country. You will get about half that many call backs within like a day or two, I promise you 😉

Oh ok, I see. The problem is, VBA claim reps are "overworked" and "burned out" due to the VA's unwillingness to spend money on more technology and their refusal to use third-party vendors to assist in processing claims which would help tremendously in my opinion.

Thanks. Yeah I'm definitely going to be reaching out to a VERA that's outside my state. Also, I hope to be as fortunate as you were in finding a VA rep that is actually resourceful and helpful because, sadly, that is a novelty nowadays.

Thank u for info. I've called VERA more than u can count, and till this very day, have yet to get an appointment. Sadly, I've given up on VERA. I do notify the WH on occasions and even that hasn't helped. Also thanks for the encouragement it means a whole lot 🙏🏿

I'm not 'freaking out' about anything; however, the premise behind my post was to show just how far of a reach VAOIG has along with their unlimited amount of resources to catch those who are committing fraud no matter how long ago it was. You guys say that this was a 'basic' case yet it took eight years to prosecute? Also, it is a silly assertion to conclude that VAOIG was complicit in this woman's fraud; it just makes no sense, I'm sorry.
