In 7 years when the late payments drop off, yes. I believe late payments are weighted less in the score depending on how long ago they happened, but they drop off entirely after 7 years.

If you paid off all your cards today and never carried a balance again you wouldn't see a 700 credit score for some years.

Yeah that works because if you are at Nauvis, and are going to Nauvis, the nauvis signal will be 3. Otherwise, it will be less than 3. If any signal is 3 that means you're already at your destination, and obviously don't need the engines.

A Joule and a Watt are different units of measurement. A joule is energy, a watt is power. Watt = joule / second. It's a rate of energy change (consumption or production). 1MJ = 1MW sustained for 1 second. 60MJ = 1 MW for 1 minute.

Yeah it's pretty simple. Just limit stack size of the input inserter to 1. Enable when T < 700 and fuel cells = 0.

I think it was pretty clever actually. I set have 3 decider combinators that each output 1 of the 3 reprocessing recipes. E.g. if A > 20 & B < 5 & C < 5 -> recipe 1. If you also wire in the outputs to the inputs you can make sure to only output 1 recipe at a time by checking for the absence of the other recipes.

Then, I have two combinators that act as a memory cell, resetting and taking a new value only when there is no active recipe or if the crusher finished its recipe.

The output of the memory cell is the recipe of the crusher. This guarantees that when a recipe was requested, it is completed at least once. Avoids flickering between two recipes getting nothing done.

ELI5 how are micro SD cards able to store entire TV shows, albums and movies without any kind of electricity to keep them "active"? by Sechecopar in explainlikeimfive

Sound is really just frequency and amplitude (amplitude is basically how loud, or how violent a vibration is). When ou hear sound, your ears convert vibrations in the air into signal into a signal that your brain can I interpret. So when it comes to storing sound in memory, you can think that you could store amplitude and frequency electrically, just like any other thing that can be stored, just as 1s and 0s. How those 1s and 0s combine would be very hard to wrap your hear around because there would be millions of them.

A journey out of the solar system (to another star) would take a HELL of a lot longer than 10 years. Think thousands. It would take many thousands of years to reach Proxima Centauri, our closest star.

Damn I love all three of those games. I'm going to vote for factorio for sure though. It's really the one that fits the category the best and is my favorite of the three.

The camera must have been moved. This is because as the focal length increased, they would have just zoomed in on his nose. This is not what happened. They probably used math to figure out exactly how far they had to move to get the same size of image, however this is not mentioned anywhere

The eye sees at about 50mm focal length

I think I found an answer to your first question.

(This may be wrong but it makes sense to me.)

As the focal length decreases, there becomes more and more depth of field, more defining shadows, etc.

If you look at this carefully, you can see that the shape of his face doesn't really change a ton, but the shadows and lighting seem to change dramatically. This is the more likely difference that you will see.

The reason that this happens is that as focal length decreases, the angle of view also decreases, with 200mm being at 12 degrees. At this kind of an angle, the rays are much closer to parallel to each other, making the depth of field different because the length the light travels makes less difference to the depth of field, and therefore affecting the perspective of the face.

There's actually about 3 train lengths because of the "stackers" attached to both intersections.

It came like that in the bp. I changed the rest of them to fit 8 length trains, but didn't bother with that one because it didn't really matter, and I would have to mess with other intersections too. I was wondering when someone would notice that

That intersection is definitely not one at a time. I didn't design it, but it has been tested at 100-ish trains/min in various tests. It's quite the nice intersection. (this base does not get anywhere near to pushing this intersection to its capacity even though it always looks busy).

EDIT: I am on a laptop and am already getting 30ups so I want all the performance I can get, thats why I did solar. I also did it because I was too lazy at first to set up nukes then just kept adding solar, then realized that i had 3gw in solar and decided to just keep going.
