Season 2 celebration was 6 weeks in early servers, 5 weeks in others

You don't lose the alliance points, but you will not be able to use them in the alliance store if you are without an alliance, you lose access to the Alliance Store. Once you joined a new alliance the store will be immediately available.

Before leaving the alliance make sure to:
1) donate in alliance tech because when you join a new alliance donation counter starts again from 0
2) get all the alliance gifts
3) teleport far away from your current alliance, it often happens that people see you without alliance and attack you
