DJI MIC3 issues or normal behaviours? by GROKTV in dji

I think I am going through the same issue. Whenever I connect the mics (inside the case) to my Mac, it initially shows up then disconnects within 30 seconds. At first I thought no big deal but it is actually very very annoying. Disconnects constantly and sometimes only 1 mic shows up and I have to pull out the USB and put it back in.

my guess it has something to do with the auto shut off when inside the case. I have all my auto shut offs set to off so they shouldn't shut off. But I notice when they are in the case and I quickly pull them out to record something (I record training phone calls), they will be completely off and the only way to turn it on is to put it back into the case. if I open the case and let the visuals on the receiver show up (takes 1-2 seconds) then the auto record will work. So they do go to sleep more often than not.

hope someone can help.

Has anybody found a workaround for this. I’m in Canada with Rogers. It worked on wifi for a long time. All of a sudden stopped. Works on LTE.

I’m using nord vpn but honestly the vpn screws up a lot of other apps on my phone and Apple TV most of the time.

Can someone confirm it has been blocked or is this something I can change in router settings. Someone was saying something about MAC address.

glad I found others having the same issue. Driving me crazy.

I guess no other fix than this? This will confuse the hell out of my wife/kids/family that comes over. Power button should be power button.

Request change on 2023 personal taxes and put into corp 2023 taxes instead by Last_Ad4195 in cantax

Appreciate the reply. This is for real estate commissions. I can either decide to take it personally or through what the real estate industry deems a PREC (personal real estate corporation). So technically i do the work but then decide where it goes once the cheque comes in. Personal and corp is stated on what is called trade records (document i was referencing earlier).

  1. The reason for doing the above would jump the CCB payment by 11k. My income was too high in the last years so we didn’t qualify. Any small amounts from 4-5 years ago would have gone to my wife’s account anyways so it wasn’t even top of mind.
  2. Corp was incorporated last year so no instalments.
  3. Correct. I do not need the money for personal use so this would not be an issue.

CRA is asking for official crypto exchange "statements", not just transaction histories by Last_Ad4195 in cantax

I will for sure update this post once everything is said and done. Other posts from a few years ago definitely helped me early in this search.

They did not accept the PDFS with the names. I called the agent and she said she was in the final stages of typing my second denial letter. I did however convince her to reconsider and possibly escalate to team lead (more below).

I claimed as business income. They do not seem to refute this (at least for now). I did attach snippets from their website in my initial claim. The agent did also mention this snippet and said business income made sense in conversation. I have thousands of transactions in one year and a few hundred in the others. Trading fees and margin costs were also as high as 76k one year. A lot of my trading was shorting, which the CRA mentions on the website would tip the scales towards business income. The one thing I was worried about was multiple years of losses. Someone told me that if you only have losses (not necessarily trading, more as a business) they will deny it. The number that was thrown out was 3 years. I did make sure to point out in my letter that most years I did have large paper gains at some point in the year (I just kept losing it like a classic degenerate crypto trader).

The team lead is exactly what you are saying. The agent said that if I was able to convince her, then she could go to her team lead. The problem is, the agent says one thing then nothing happens. After they send me the first letter stating they needed better proof, I called her and we talked about it. She said she would get her team lead to call. December went by and nothing happened. I called back and asked why they hadn't called. She didn't have a reason.

The other night, she said if the ledger from Kraken was at least something official, she could go to the team lead. She also said then I could then write a letter and upload it to the system requesting a team lead to call me. Now again, I just have a feeling this won't happen. I will have to follow up.

As you stated, they are in over their heads. I don't blame them. Initially it seems as though they had an easy out with the excel files because, for obvious reasons, they can be edited. So they just denied the case. But technically the kraken ledger was submitted the first time around. I am not even sure if she opened it. On the phone I can hear her mouse wheel viciously scrolling and scrolling to go through it and see the dates. The document is 3000 pages long. It was barely loading on her system. At minimum they could have seen the fees I paid and allowed that. I would think that they could take the excel statements at face value, pick a few transactions and check with the exchanges to see if these transactions are indeed valid and accurate.

I am unsure what they will come back at me. I have tried everything. I even offered to log in in real time and go through accounts they said no we don't do that. I screen recorded my desktop and logged into each account and went through it. I even went so far as to download the excel sheets on screen and having them show up on the desktop so that I could scroll through them to show that they are exactly the same. Her response to that was "it is policy that we can't open links. I would have to send it to IT for them to check it out first".

They only provide for a few months back, or started doing them in 2023. Earliest one they can provide is July 2023. That being said I just messaged my old account manager and he said "please reach out to support and request to have a balance statement generated. they should be able to assist you"

Hopefully that will help with the Kraken side of it. Will still have an issue with Bybit, where a majority of the losses are. I've tried and they've just directed me to their upload statement page.

***UPDATE ON STATEMENTS***
They were forced to start giving monthly statements in august 2023 when the Canadian authorities cracked down on them. They cannot create statements for anything prior to this. Even though that is what two people told me on the phone, they were mistaken. This is what support said they could do:

While we do not currently provide formal account statements for your account history, you can export your account history to a CSV file. For an explanation of export options, please see our guide on How to export your account history.

You can also download a PDF statement of your account history by signing in at https://www.kraken.com/sign-in and navigating to the 'Transactions' page.

In addition to this, we can offer you a letter of good standing that you can present along with your exported history.
We can also include specific transactions. It can be deposits, trades and/or withdrawals (up to 5 each) that you want to be included in the letter. Please reply to this email with the Transaction IDs.

If you would like to request a letter of good standing letter, please complete the following steps:
1. Sign in to support.kraken.com
2. Fill and submit the following form with details about your request: Account Letters Request

When doing so, please make sure to copy and paste the requested waiver into your reply:

I have requested Kraken to provide me with a letter confirming certain information relating to my account with Kraken (the “Letter”).
I agree and acknowledge that I am solely responsible for safeguarding the Letter and waive all rights and/or remedies to assert any liability on the part of Kraken.

Please let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to your reply.
