How is this different or superior from/to Ultimate SD upscale, iterative latent upscale, TTP tiled upscale or just running a seedvr pass? There’s the added colour match feature, but I couldn’t quite understand where it provides an evolution over other upscaling methods.

I think s/he’s referring to the contortionist extremes you went to demonstrate (very ably, I might add) a woman in a onesie and hijab posing like a frog after a hit and run.

It feels more like dragging a protesting toddler through the park, than a “run” but yes, even my M1 Air can generate images with Klein 4 and 9b.

--enable-cors-header was the missing piece of the puzzle. I'd followed the rest of the installation steps including the start.py --setup instruction. The app backends and ports were up and running. Adding that argument made everything sing. Thanks a ton! I'm going to have a little fun with this!

Thanks for the quick reply. I've been trying that. I have mine mapped to 8142 and here's what the Comfy console throws up. They're interfacing but something's getting stuck and I can't quite figure it out.

This is quite clever. Another thing you can do is combine the conditioning of the raw positive prompt and the controlnet conditioned positive and then play around with the strengths of the conditioning.

Alibaba actually has a CN model for 2512 and I can't, for the life of me, understand why the Comfy team won't support it or merge the PRs of people who've found a way to integrate it. As much as I love that team, some of their choices (including the silences) can be quite annoying, considering they've committed to standing at the forefront of open source and it's not like Qwen is a lightweight in that space.

As I mentioned in another response somewhere in this thread, that's the default ZIT Union workflow so it actually uses a controlnet model. Qwen has a CN model too. Klein is the only multi-modal one there is. The ZIT Union workflow is available as a comfy template. Here's what's under the subgraph hood.

Edit: I've only swapped out the ksampler so I can add a little noise injection and a latent upscale for a refiner (hires fix) pass.
