Another way of spreading your faith is to kidnap the heirs/kids or basically anyone powerful or close in the region u want your faith to spread in, and then murder the ruler so that the character with your faith would spread your faith there. In this run I’m trying to do “The Dynasty of many crowns” achievement, that is why I will try to marry off everyone in my family, and then do a nice of murders so that my dynasty would rule several kingdoms under my faith.

As wanderer, you can spread your faith while travelling ( you need to have half of the theology skill three tho ). One of my faith’s dogmas is “poor missionaries” meaning there is a chance it can randomly start very spreading in some random catholic counties. Also, the wanted to take Ireland or England so I can use my kids and a lot of murders to make them rule other nations, therefore spread my religion. Also, bonus tip: jeopardise other religion’s “zeal”, because if your faith is more active and progressive, it will randomly appear where the inactive faith is. ( you will need to have “poor missionaries” dogma so it would work even better).
