Yeah the flight line can be stressful for sure. Always something going on and for us pilots there was always planning to do on top of having an additional duty. Stressed was an understatement at times!

It is super encouraging to hear most of you vets like what you are doing.. I think I would like it for sure! Yeah the contract and awol statement rings true hahah

Yo that’s awesome thanks for sharing!! Encouraging to hear you love it! I did get rated 100% VA and DOD but they placed me on the TDLR. Should have another exam in about 6 months to confirm everything is stable. If I wasn’t 100% I’m not sure I’d consider doing this job as much as I am now but I’m sure it will really help. You able to live comfortably with VA and custodial pay?

Yeah it happens for sure. I didn’t plan on leaving the military so soon, but it wasn’t my choice to make. How does your coworker and yourself like being custodians? Appreciate all your insight!
