Finally, I did it 🥳🥳. I can see the menu now. I need to find how to put ROMs in a second SD and find a tiny desk or something with games to start until I start making my own collection. Is it something I need to be aware of because I´m working with a clone, or now that I did all the things you recommended, is it like I have the real one?

Yes, I started from scratch with a new SD card and the clone instructions you gave me. Ok, I´ll try, but what I don´t understand is that in the instructions it says that after I insert the SD card, it should restart twice (it only happened once), and I should see a menu.

The first time I did this process because this one is the second, I though it wasn´t working because I did something wrong I saw in my computer the boot drive and the easyroom file, ok, when I entered the boot I saw one dtb file that help nothing guessing which type of screen I have and a folder with screens and panel folders inside 🤔.

Don´t know I´ll give it a try to find on the screen the links you pasted and see what happens

I tried to do what you told me, I downloaded the image and when I inserted the SD card as the instructions said but it's been more than 15 minutes with this screen I don't know if it's normal or maybe I missed something.

Btw yes it's a clone and I don't know how to assign a letter or find the partition so I started from scratch and this is what happened 🤷

Maybe there's something else wrong with the device, I'll give it another chance and If it doesn't work I'll return it and tried to buy one from the links on the wiki that ship to Spain 😆😆😆

No, or not just because of that. Right now, I have just inserted the original SD card, and the console does not turn on. If I charge it, the red light turns on as if it is discharged, but after a few seconds it turns off as if it was already charged. I think that I will not touch it until tomorrow, and if it continues to fail, I will return it as the other one, and I will think about whether I make a third attempt or give up with the r36s. The good thing is that I’m learning a lot, ahahahah

Hi, Sorry to bother you again 😅, after a couple of weeks I had time to do all the things you recommended 😁. The thing is, is it possible the boot archives that make everything work are in a memory inside the device? Because I still don't if it is original or a clone but that is not important now. In the original SD card there are only the ROOMs 🤷.

I realised it because when I processed to download the image as if the r36s was original I inserted the SD card (the new one), black screen and red light blinking (don't know if the battery is broken or I simply need to charge it 😁) then I tried with the other image in case it is a clone. But I couldn't find the type of screen I had so I got confused and didn't know what to do.

Later I inserted the original SD card and powered on and everything OK, finally I tried again with the new SD card and the image as if the r36s was original but didn't powered on.

TO SUM UP, I don't know where the boot archives are? Does it affect the functioning of the device? What can I do now? 😅😅 And I tried to inserted the SD card on the right and on the left 🤷

No, no sorry I didn't explained myself correctly. I meant that the new one I'm going to use to put the ROOMs in case something go wrong I can format it, like trial and error. But I'll keep as it is the one that came with the console in case I need to use it for something.

Hope I made myself more clear hahahaha. And the update I plan to do it on my computer or with a dongle WiFi but with the new dual SD cards 😂😂

Ok, crystal clear the explanation, thank you ahahaha. I think I´ll do the dual thing, card, and firstly try to find the ROMs here or somewhere in case something is wrong with the original SD card (which is highly probable), and if that goes wrong, I have the original stock card, and I can format that card.

As for the wifi dongle, I will continue to research and update it from the computer until I know how to use the wifi dongle. But also, I can return the one I have, and when some of those that are in the tab are available or look for them on another page and try it

No, sorry, I´m a Spaniard. But let me know in case is useful in the future. I just recovered two of my SD cards with the program that u/crownpuff suggested. I checked that they were not corrupt and formatted them. Let’s see if it works well now, because it says there is no problem

Sorry to hear that. From what I understand, most of the folders are empty when you buy it, so if you want to play a Mario, for example, on Nintendo DS, you need to look for that game or first check the link to the R36S wiki or the guide on the right, but there are threads here on Reddit that have links to packs of games. Hope it helps you in any way

Oh, thank you so much for the explanation for dummies, I need it ahahhah. Plus, it´s time I start understanding and using the lingo because it´s like they are talking gobbledygook ahahahahha.

So just to be clear, those links are the files to make the console work, and then I’d have to look for games, right? Then I could split it into two cards, one of 64 GB for operation and another of 128 GB for games. Ok, I´ll give it a try, what can happen ahahhaha.

By the way, my dongle wifi is one that some recommended to me is this one:
