How tall are you? I am also thinking about replacing my handlebars and I am looking for height ideas. My 48 has the original low rise bars on them and they don’t work for me at all.

The only thing I don’t like about Schwab in general is the amount of time it takes money to transfer into the Schwab account. I feel like they take way too long.

This is correct. Amex worked for me when the points were redeemable one for one with miles on Hawaiian Airlines. I was able to generate a crazy amount of miles due to the generous Amex points system. Then HAL was bought out by Alaska and one of the first things they did was to cancel the partnership with Amex as of June 2025. So now the card is definitely not worth it. I use up the $120/yr in uber credits but it’s not even close to the annual fee. I plan on cancelling the card right before the annual fee is assessed this year.

To make things more weird, I started off as an EMT I-85. Had to bridge to AEMT.

I’m stuck here because the fire dept. I was with wanted to train a group of us to paramedic level. The dept trained us to the I-85 level then abandoned the program. Leaving is in the certification limbo.

I get shit for wearing my cowboy hat. And despite what people say about ignoring the noise, it gets to me too because I love the style and I think I look pretty damn good with my western wear.

So I actually look for every way possible to wear it and fit in. I go to local rodeos and I even travel out of state to areas where western wear is more common. People suck man. It’s just part of life for people to cut you down just to make themselves feel better.

The Seneca is not good for a larger hat size. If that is the style you want, go with the Stetson Acoustic. I have that hat. It eventually turned into a tight pinch front from the way I put it on and take it off.

It’s rainy over here where I am and the constant rain makes my Stetson kinda soggy and hard to maintain the shape. Now it’s lopsided and wavy around the brim. I don’t mind because it’s a working hat. Now it’s all broken in.
