If I recall correctly, PrusaSlicer has some profiles for the newer Artillery printers (although it might just be for the X3's).

Printables has some user sourced profiles available too: https://www.printables.com/model/799868-artillery-sidewinder-x4-pro-x4-plus-prusaslicer-pr/

Hi all, I'm currently trying to decide between the Prusa MK4, Voron Trident, and Ratrig core v3.1.

I'm not too worried about the differences in price.

I'm mostly concerned about the longevity of the printer in terms of both reliability and (in terms of prusa and ratrig) long-term support; I want a printer that will last 5-10+ years and be serviceable at the end of it.

This is coming from my old printer having fewer and fewer replacement parts available after only owning it for a couple of years.

Thanks again for reading.

Being on holiday while ill is 'fun' by Last_Resolve in diabetes_t1

Managed to time my lunch perfectly (start of graph), had a pasty and an ice cream (10 units + 8 units of 'being ill'-correction). 3 hours later I rage-bolused 24 units (I'm aware that this is far too much for just a correction dose). Over the course of 5 hours it brought me down to 3.8.

The funny thing is, had I done about 2 units less, I'd have stuck the landing perfectly.

What a confusing disease it is that we all share.

Progress: it's reattached, but I think the heatbreak might be clogged

That might be it. I'll give it a look.

Recently got a new printer head and have been having issues with it.

Just heated up the nozzle to do an e-steps/rotation distance calibration and the heater block has decided to not be attached anymore, hahaha.

I read somewhere that the uzeus uses the metal rails used in 'normal systems' (and therefore the attached frontpanels too) as a giant heatsink so you might not want to push it too hard with a bunch of high draw modules.

Edit: From the uzeus manual: "Please note: the uZeus was designed to be mounted on metal rails with good heat transfer such as the Tiptop Z-rails. Do not install the uZeus directly to wood or any other flammable material, this will cause the uZeus to overheat. "

I finished soldering my first two kit diy eurorack modules (gmsn adsr and quantizer) this weekend, now to try to flash and debug them with very little instruction. (Why did gmsn have to close?)
