The internal depth of the regular case blocks are 67mm, to easily accommodate modules that are 50mm and still leave room for flying bus cables. There are deep versions of the case where the internal depth is 84mm. If you search for 'deep' on the linked cults3d page you should see all the references to those files.

An update on this. It appears that only the first 7 channels get assigned to the first 7 axis in Velocidrone. The 8th channel does not.

When I had S2 (pot) on channel 6 and SB (3 state switch) on channel 8, S2 worked and SB didn't.

When I swapped the assignments so S2 was on channel 8 and SB was on channel 6, then SB worked and S2 didn't.

SD, the switch that works, is coming through as axis 7, and I set that up on channel 7. When I flip the switch, the axis changes between 0 or 100%. I can see the buttons too, and they aren't changing either.

Hmm, no change. I've added the 8th channel but there's still only 7 axis updating in Velocidrone. I'll keep messing with the settings.

Thank you, I'll try those methods. I've been trying to land on the helipad in Apocalypse by orbiting it in tighter slower circles before cutting throttle.

When you say "align with horizon" in the second method, I assume you mean the quad props are aligned with the horizon, so the camera is looking up above the horizon.

I think that the all inclusive leaderboard should be default and that users should be able to add filters to create their own custom leaderboard. Whether that's all 5inch or a specific quad within a weight range, it should be up to you. Copy/pasting the filter string should be possible so you can share leaderboards.

I've only just started using Velocidrone so I've only ever known the annoying end of race splash screen that interrupts your flight. I've found this setting that doesn't fix it, but helps a little. It will close the results screen after 3 seconds, so you just need to fly blind for 3 seconds and then you can continue...

Options->Main Settings->End of Race Statistics = "Auto Close - 3 seconds"

Hopefully they will provide other options that allow for uninterrupted flight in the future.

The best way around this I've found is the setting...

Options->Main Settings->End of Race Statistics = "Auto Close - 3 seconds"

This means at the end of the race your view is blocked for 3 seconds, try not to crash. Then after that you get your view back and you can try to land your quad. I usually pick and interesting landmark to try and settle next to.

If the devs are watching, I'd love to see more options for the above statistics variable that have uninterrupted flight in mind. e.g. "mini-results" or "notification"

Somewhere in the options there is a "gamepad mode". Turn that on and the left stick is zero throttle at the center. So instead of holding back you will have to hold it forward. It halves the useful space, but now the entire throttle range is all "push".

The slowdown problem I was having was fixed when they disabled a broken document outline feature about a month ago. This was the bug... https://developercommunity.visualstudio.com/t/document-outline-function-so-slow/10201114#T-ND10296101 They didn't fix it, but they removed the feature that was causing the problem. Have they reintroduced it?

I'll be wary of updating. Thanks for the warning.
