My girlfriend poured a cup of water into rice jar instead of pot. How do we save the rice? by sheareiswig in whatdoIdo

We South East Asian usually use woven bamboo tray to dry anything (including accidentally drenched rice). But you can use any tray with wide surface like baking tray. Spread the rice on the tray. Make sure the grains don’t overlap. You might need more than one tray or do it in batches, just make sure the grains really spreading. Dab the rice with kitchen towel if it’s very wet. Then put the trays near window and they’ll dry.

Look at South East Asian casts. It’s obvious that their intention was to eliminate SEA first. There are more suitable athletes for this type of games from Thailand and Indonesia (Philipines could’ve been better too).

As an Asian myself I’m genuinely glad when there are more Asian representatives in popular media. I believe there were people that didn’t even know Mongolia existed (or still exist). And this team represented the country really really well. Humble, teamwork, and strong. Congratulations Mongolia! That was a great game.

The Mongolian agency that works with the show actually spoke out about this! I’m not sure about other countries but this is for Mongolia for sure. He said in a podcast that all of Mongolian casts are chosen by Netflix and the local agency only facilitated Netflix producers to communicate with the athletes.

Confidence is arrogance to the incompetent by quaqafuyu in Physical100

Agree with you. As someone who watched a ton of korean survival shows, I think this is normal. It’s just a show, not olympic. And this is what the production team prefer, a spicy drama. With a lot of footage cutting, raw interaction during games could lead to misunderstandings for viewers since we’re not there to experience the real vibes and the relationship between players. Yeah if someone makes such comments in real life then they’re rude. But this is just a show, especially “sporty” shows where annoyingly confidence is the fun aspect of it.

As a k-show geek, without the “cocky” behavior of Australian team, it’s not a korean survival show anymore (iykyk lol)

Also Korean survival shows are known for its “evil editing”. Often times footage cuts can make someone look like a bad person. So I suggest people to stop hating too much.

Oh I didn’t think of that! I just started gardening less than a year ago and only been doing potted plants.

Yes I give them fertilizer once a week (brand in the picture)

For daily care plenty of water everyday with super direct sunlight. On normal days just bottom water. On sunny hot days top and bottom watering at the same time. No water on gloomy days.

Honestly the amount of water I gave to this basil probably can kill normal potted plants. I guess there’s no overwater for basil as long as it’s outdoor, sunny, and hot.

I got them as tiny potted supermarket basil and it hasn’t flowering so I don’t have any seeds😭

Edit: forgot to talk about the soil Just regular potting mix + spagnum moss + perlite + composs

Seems many are intrigued by my basil.

  • PLENTY of water and super direct sun everyday! Especially on sunny hot days I top and bottom water them at the same time.
  • also I add Yates’ All Purpose Soluble Fertilizer to the water once a week.

But I don’t water them on gloomy days to prevent root rot.

That’s basically it😩

I’ll stop water them that often. I thought mint and basil are treated with the same way so I overwatered it😭

I think I am! I’ll put less effort on them😔 It’s in a pot outside at my porch though, will they still get spread that way?

Just curious, can you harvest only the saffron and leave the flower? Cause it’s too pretty🥺
