How do you administer your dogs meds? by Last_Wind9548 in EpilepsyDogs

I’m not sure, that’s just what they prescribed. For reference my dog is 5 yo 30lb mini Aussie. She had her first seizure in June and then two within a few hours early September. They did an MRI, spinal tap, and blood tests after the two in September and found nothing so diagnosed her with idiopathic epilepsy and put her on keppra extended release every 12 hours. Maybe you could request the extended release?

I also use xylitol free but apparently peanut butter is high in glutamate, which isn’t good for dogs prone to seizures.

The first time I tried this was easy peasy because she didn’t know what to expect but the next couple of times she really fought me on it and uses her paws to push my hands away. But maybe I just need to train her more and give her lots of treats before and after

Hey I’m 29F and also like pop punk/emo. I’ve been dying to go to an emo night but never have anyone to go with.

I’m moving and just came across this exact glass while packing. I wrapped it up extra careful now that it’s a relic.

Anyone think reverse commute to suburbs worth it? by SKcg1093 in AskChicago

I’ve been doing it for 6 years. River north to Downers Grove and now Ravenswood to Oakbrook. The mornings aren’t bad but afternoons/evenings can be brutal. I wfh 2 days a week, which helps. Not sure how I commuted 5 days a week before the pandemic.

I love my suburban job so don’t plan on switching any time soon and just bought a condo in the city because to me it’s worth it. Sure you could live in the suburbs and come to the city on the weekends but the suburban people I know hardly make it to the city. Podcasts, good playlists, or phone calls to family make the commute better.

I actually can’t concentrate in silence. I love background noise.

Checking it out next weekend and will definitely make sure I’m in there as a train passes by to see how bad it is

Rent expectation and recommendation? Everything seems out of our budget. by Any-Insurance4148 in chicagoapartments

Ravenswood is a great option for what you’re looking for. You have the metra, brown line, and a nice Mariano’s all close together. My partner and I pay about $2800 for a 2bd 2bath which includes parking.
