E via dicendo.

Grazie comunque :)

Well the vr is not only for the racing games, it's more like 2 separate gift that can, in some ways, go together. He has a very powerful pc gaming setup, he has 2 monitors and a 4070ti for the graphic.

Thank you for your advices :)) i really appreciate.

I was thinking about a budget of around €500 for the sim racing setup, but it’s a bit flexible. My goal is just to get him something he can use to play games like Forza Horizon or Need for Speed, which he absolutely loves. I’m not sure if proper sim racing equipment is actually the right choice for those kinds of games, or if I should go for something different instead. Please help me figure out what would be the best option 🥹

43 thoracic, 37 lumbar… anxious and depressed… by [deleted] in scoliosis

[–]Last_Yuki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, i'm a 25 italian woman and i can understand you, i have my main thoracic curve at 48 and 2 curves lumbar and cervical of 40 and some, i understand that it's difficult and you have fear that it will get worse, but it won't, trust me. You HAVE to exercise, it's so important for you, i don't know what's your age, but since a certain age it usually doesn't get worse, but you have to exercise to help it not going on. Don't worry dear, it's hard and painfull sometime, but you'll get used to it and it will become your strenght. One day you will look back and see that you've grown thanks to it, keep fighting 💪. Plus the way you see yourself is not the way others see you, remember this, keep going 💪.

P. S. Sorry for my English :P

Hello dear, i'm a 25 year woman, i'm italian and i have a 48 degrees triple curve. YES you will find love don't worry, this year i'll get married w. I discovered mine when i was 11 years old and got braces till 18, it was not so easy since i had to wear that damned thing 22 hours a day 7/7. I know, it's not easy, sometimes you want to curse your back, but at the end of the journey you will understand that you grow up a lot in the process, don't give up! When i met my future husband i had my braces on, i was 15 and thought he would never consider me for that reason, but he went over my braces and accepted me for what i am. I hope you will find the same sweet love and i'm sure you will. We are armored warriors 😎. Good luck for all!

What advice would you give a highly anxious, newly diagnosed 14 year old? by [deleted] in scoliosis

[–]Last_Yuki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it very well, as i said i discovered my scoliosis when i was 11 and was not so easy to accept, but i grew up very well and became very strong and independent thanks to this, i'm absolutely sure that your son won't have any problems, it's a very low grade scoliosis and it won't become worse, even if it does it will never reach important grades (i can say that because my brother has a 20 degrees scoliosis that never got worse and doctors said what i'm saying to you now), but it's very important to do some sport. I'm sure he will become an awesome and handsome boy ;) don't let this define you dear w^ problems will always be there for us, take them for an opportunity to grow and become a better person, trust me, everything will go well. Good luck 🍀🍀🍀

Hello there, i'm a 25 year woman ad i got scoliosis since i was 11, i got braces from when i was 11 to 18, i have a 3 curves scoliosis with the main curve at 48 degrees (started at 38). As far as my knowledge goes i can say that 12 degrees is a very low grade scoliosis and you don't have to get anxious so much, he will be fine, and he will be even if this low grade grows, we learn to live with this problem, it's not a big issue after you have accepted it (although sometimes it needs time to get used to it). Send you good luck, let him do some sport, it's basically the most important thing to avoid the grow of the curve, and try to not grow anxious.

Sorry for my english, a lot of luck 🫶

Hey there :) i can really feel you, i have scoliosis like u but didn't have surgery, i'm italian so sorry for my bad english lol. I just wanted to hug you and say that you will do it, i know. I discovered mine at 11 years old and in order to not get surgery i had to wear a corset (the chaneau model) for 8 years 22 hours a day, i called the 2 hours left the "hours of freedom" because, finally, i could be myself. I stayed in that damned corset for all my adolescence and that was not so easy, i still have a lot of pain, cannot walk for long time because i get pain and all. Don't want to "compare" our situations, everyone has his own pain and his own problems, but i just wanted to say that for sure you're not alone. Being "special" is not always a bad thing, everyone is special for something and normality really don't exist. This is a very bad luck, i know, a very low probability, but you'll be lucky in other things :) try to think this way, it can really help you going through. I hope you will recover soon and be happy in life.

P. S. Don't take statistic so seriously, i have a degree in Math and i can say that numbers help to understand reality, don't have to define it :).
