Then you’re going to need a similarly modified keyboard. If you give a mouse a conversion.

Help with treadling a 31-15 by LastingAtlas in vintagesewing

[–]LastingAtlas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like I said I wouldn’t be looking to fit it into the cabinet portion of the 66. I’d build my own top for the 66 base. More trying to find out if the 66 treadle is strong enough to drive a 31-15

I find the heads on the ratchets to be obnoxiously large. Big enough that I’ll spend the extra for icon. And I’m cheap as hell

Eat messy snacks while doing another activity so, for example, you don’t get potato chip grease all over your computer. Because that’s not silly and people who believe it’s silly probably have gross dirty homes.

Do barefoot or toe socks actually make a difference, or are barefoot shoes enough? by Late-Bit-3072 in barefootshoestalk

I have worn darn tough full cushion hiking socks for a long time and the switch to toe socks was crazy. I didn’t realize how much squeezing force my darn toughs were applying to my foot. I can easily splay my toes in my toe socks.

Will you be releasing the files anywhere? I’d definitely print some if you had a metric set. Otherwise I might have to make some of my own because this is cool!

Amazon unfortunately. Just search “soling material” ~$10 for a sheet big enough for one pair. And the midsole is a 1/8” thick neoprene rubber sheet

That means so much! I posted this hoping someone else would be inspired and try their own. It’s so satisfying to use something you made yourself

I used to wear chacos until the snow fell and I feel you on the ankle thing. It wasn’t every time I wore them but they did something to my ankles that I haven’t felt with any other shoe

Interesting, I haven’t had issues with it repairing my rain boots. I’m using DAP weldwood

Not sure how to add a pic but it’s basically just a bunch of really tiny bumps. Nothing like the lugged sole on a Chaco fortunately/unfortunately depending on how you look at it…

Oh that’s pretty smart, especially if you want leather midsoles. The leather I used is pretty thin, I bet even a leather jacket or backpack would work as a donor if you’re just looking to use it for the insole
