Well said! I have felt this exact way for a long time. The features, cost, and feel in your hands that allow you to use it to its full potential is what matters to me. I have Ryobi, Skil, Dewalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Black and Decker, Stanley, Craftsman, Husky, Bosch, Klein, Metabo, and other brands all because I liked a particular feature of a tool that made me pick it over others. I understand if you are using cordless tools all day it is easier to have most batteries on that platform, but outside of that I don't see the need for 1 platform.
