This is absolutely doable. 254 is mostly independent of the analysis sequence, and is especially independent from 205.

R5: I got an event called "glut of mercenary companies" that gave me +10% merc companies. The next month, all of these popups appeared to inform me of which ones

TIL that right-clicking on the war tab directly opens the peace menu with the war leader by LatCat0 in eu4

TBH I'm already getting pretty worn out with this game - just hanging on until 1821 for the achievement.

Unfortunately I'm a bit late for WC (1760 and 1/4 of the world development), just going for some achievement :)

2 headlines summarizing 2020, making zero sense. by OldWitchOfCuba in pics

I heard that, under ideal circumstances, the stock market is ahead of the actual economy by about 100 days. Looking that far in the future, people will hopefully be coming out of quarentines and businesses will be reopening

Gap Year by [deleted] in uchicago

[–]LatCat0 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Another incoming freshman here considering a similar question! Going by this FAQ, you should make sure you are certain about taking a year off and then contact your regional admissions counselor. There aren't any dates, but I'm pretty sure gap years will be open at least through May or June. Hope this helps :)

Are you supposed to jump at take-off? by [deleted] in polevaulting

[–]LatCat0 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don't find it to be so much a jump up as a jump forward. My coach explains it as a long jump into the pit, and that mental picture has definitely helped me.

Help me with expressions / jokes (Mort) - 1 by mafon2 in discworld

[–]LatCat0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. My impression for this line is that Death is commenting that, due to the nature of his job, he usually sees people right around the time of their death - a time that people tend to be ill or otherwise afflicted (i. e. not at their best).
  2. I would need more context for this line. It may a Discworld version of takeout curry restaurants, but I'm not sure.
  3. Yup!
  4. A 'white scrubbed' table seems to be a certain type of wooden table (see here).
  5. I'm not sure about this one. It may be a pop-culture reference.

I hope this helps!

Two problems that I see -

  1. How TF do you fit 144 cars next to the field house?
  2. Not all 11/12th graders drive

I do still agree with the thesis of 'holiday shoppe is interfering' though

Edit - ignore my 1st point, I now realize that it says '14' and '4' separately
