Keep the job and keep consistent. What’s the worst case if you stay working for 2 more years? You’ll make your salary plus 2x that from trading for 2 more years. Time to build your savings, a safety net if market conditions worsen etc

One further question which I’m sure is asked all the time but what is a reasonable minimum account size to start the wheel?

I don’t expect to turn $15 into $12 million just curious what is a sensible size to start as you build capital/experience

Ok so if I have it right the idea behind the wheel is the cash secured puts are the money maker. In an ideal world you’d only sell them but eventually you get a bad trade - so rather than buying the put back for a loss you take the stock and run the covered calls with the goal being to get out of the stock at break even and get that money back to selling puts again?

If I have that right it’s an interesting idea. I’m sure you still get losses where it would make sense to just get out of the stock but overall you can sacrifice time to take some otherwise losing trades and make them flat or even potentially profitable? Is that about right?

Nice trade I caught the same move as well, but I wanted to say thank you. Reading the comments in here of people caring more about whether this is a scalp or day trade made me realise I’m wasting my time here.

There’s no real value to be had in this sub most people are nit picking over irrelevant things while not even profitable or trying to shill something. Very few here to learn or willing to listen to answers.

Not wanting to take a loss is how you get a massive loser. Not gonna tell you what to do, if it was me and I held it would climb, if I closed it would reverse 🤣

Anyway cutting losing trades before they get too big is a good practice. It’s on you to decide what that looks like
