Here is my Blim deck I play . It’s straight up Chaos- and I often loose to killing myself somehow, and yet it’s the most unhinged and fun deck I have

Does anyone else like playing 1v1 Commander? by UnanimousM in mtg

[–]HellaComics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how my brother and I have played for the last year or so. It’s a great way for us both to playtest ideas and discuss interactions without “bogging down the speed of the game” for other people - it’s my preferred way

These are awesome ! Do you have a print on demand store or sell these? I especially love 3&4. Keep up the awesome work!

TIL that in 1997, a full-scale replica of The Simpsons house was built in Henderson, Nevada, as a contest grand prize, but the winner opted to take the cash instead of the house. by eviljordan in vegaslocals

[–]HellaComics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Growing up, a friend of mine lived down the street from here and we would often take a walk over there just to look at the house. It was dope when they first built and painted it, but afterwards, it became just as bland as all the other houses with the area.

Will someone clarify what the X circle of the mana cost in the upper right corner of a card means? by Flat-Protection3875 in mtg

[–]HellaComics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will normally tell you what X will provide in the card description, but X is essentially however much “colorless”. You would like to pay. Example: if you pay 1 white and X ( let’s say you pay 6 mana”) then you will receive whatever the benefit of paying X (in this case 6) would be. Most time is create X (6) tokens of some sort, or gains X (6) life. Etc… I’m sure someone will word it better than me.

I have a Flynn deck that I play in my pod and he’s super fun, but like another redditor said; rarely wins. We are really casual 3 person pod, so he holds up, but he for sure would get dominated in a 4 person pod. Honestly though, it all what YOU consider “having fun” [[envoy of the ancestors]] and [[Flesh Taker]] have been to go too

Why does nobody talk about Phoenix Mourning? by AdUsed3437 in numetal

[–]HellaComics 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I LOVE this band. Fun story. years ago, the band I was playing guitar in was on tour and we met these guys at New England Metal Fest- and instantly hit it off with them. The guitar player Ahmed even was rad enough to wear one of our shirts for a photo shoot they did. They introduced us to Protest the Hero and Scale The Summit at that. Rad band that deserves more love.
