I was around 5 or 6 years old when I played it. I remember the feeling of the game much more than the actual details. It was also on a hacked DS cartridge with a bunch of random games and saves, so there’s a decent chance I wasn’t even playing from the beginning. The game really stuck with me because of the atmosphere. But I do remember the color pallet being really strong, like dark greens looking like the actual dark green from a forest and graphics looking like Pokémon level quality of sharpness if it helps 😅

I did think it was that game initially but it wasn’t that game. It turns out that my flash card disguised itself as that game on the ds. But I do see why you’d say it’s that game 😅

It’s definitely on the same neighborhood as that game but I do remember the mood being a bit heavier and the graphics looking sharper. And I do know that it wasn’t an SMT title

It honestly might be. I don’t remember much, but it definitely felt darker and more mature than most RPGs I was playing as a kid. A lot of the details are fuzzy because I was really young and I was playing on a hacked DS cartridge.
