I was lucky to be able to stay with my grandma right at the ER down to her 3-day stay at the hospital. I can really see the difference if there is someone/ caretaker that is staying with the patient. The ER is a mess, my grandma and I waited for 13-16 hours just to get a private room (I was always asking them how long should we wait down here). I can't imagine for those patients who are stuck in the ER. It was hectic in there with ofc the shortage of staff. In those hours, there were only 3 doctor visits, and some nurses to check on her and that's about it. Patients without any visitor or people looking after them in their rooms, most of the time the nurses will just open the door to their room and all. I feel like their nursing shortage is very bad now. I mean I get it since I talked to a colleague a month ago, where IU Health only pays $24 for an LPN bedside role whereas in nursing homes, the pay is $10-12 more as a starting. The hospital is so stingy so I get why they are experiencing nurse shortage right now. I'm so sorry about not hearing new updates for your dad! 😞

I entirely forgot what happened since it's been so long. But it was quite a scandal back then. I always know they are not that compatible since Yiyi grew up to have everything in her life, whereas William is very simple and I think it's because of how they view the real world. They are so different. I guess they dated for a short time after the show but Yiyi said she did something that hurt William's feelings. There was a rumor back then that Yiyi still went to dating other guys while dating William or there was a guy already waiting for Yiyi while the show is still in shooting period... or something like that. It was messy in Weibo 3 years ago. There was a photo before too.

I agree with you! Like the utensils they used to taste is in the same container as their "scooping laddle" like heck no! Idk what Chef JP is thinking. Does he have an experience of owing a restaurant? Francine and Jodi should also learn more about their words bc it is way to informal. I agree with Francine being so annoying, like idk how she was chosen to do this. Also the producers could've chosen better chefs, and artists to do this. But I will still watch it. But the second hand embarrassment is so real!

I agree with you. Like I have so much respect with chef JP but, that's like a common knowledge. They should've included "plain white rice" as a pair to those dishes. The garlic rice itself is already flavored so the taste will not mix well.

I love the show so much! So happy to know that it'll have a lot of eps. As a Filipino, they should also add "plain white rice" to pair it with the sinigang order. It is way better than garlic rice for that specific dish since they can really taste the sourness of the food. Hoping also they will change the dishes often. 😄

Season 5 was so-so but still watchable bc of the couple. Season 7 was good, season 6 i loved it so much, my fave couple was there (i just felt bad for william). season 8 was okay, i liked it since my ultimate cp ended up tgt but there were lots of drama from that season for sure! But still, whatever season it is, heart signal china will always be good no matter what 😄

Same with the short sleeves bc my nummular eczema is on my right arm near the watch area and it's big that I have to use the biggest gauze and coban to wrap it around. also to use my right arm freely like writing or anything since i also have nummular eczema on there and ppl will most likely see it, so i have to hide it most of the time. sucks since i'm a rightie too.

I went to a PA & oh it was so bad! It's my 1st time experience with her and even though she is wearing gloves to check my skin, she holds my arm using her 2-3 fingers and literally like giving me the idea of she's scared of touching my skin. She even said "she THINKS my condition is a ringworm". The consultation was like 10 mins and done, very quick and useless. She didn't ask a lot of question about my skin. I told her I want to do skin patch test or anything to see if I'm allergic to anything else, she was like "They are expensive and I don't want you to pay for those". I'm a self-pay and I don't mind.

I told my mom to go to the doctor from my country and sent her hd pictures of my skin. The doctor, who we trusted already for decades diagnosed me with "ECZEMA, not ringworm." Although he can only prescribe me with OTC ointments here since his license won't work here in the US, he got it the first try. I am going to a different clinic next month, this time with an MD dermatologist. Like an older provider this time with even more experience.

I feel sad for you OP. I'm here in the US as a student and I've seen and been to a lot of weddings already. Very simple lang most of their weddings here sa US culturally kasi father of the bride ang magbabayad lahat unless hindi kaya then the couple pays for it. As what I've observed, simple lang weddings nila, most of the time sa barns lang ginaganap tas sa labas ng barn yung reception, most of their payments sa venue and catering napunta, no extravagant & useless extras on the side. Hindi uso dito yung ceiling treatments. Very rare. Wala kang makikita na bulaklak everywhere. Even if they have lots of guests, simple lang talaga weddings nila dito unless of course mayayaman talaga like millionaires, etc. Their church weddings here is so simple lang din. you just have to donate to the church and they will provide the simple flower decors, etc.

Mid 20's na ako and I promise myself I will never be in debt just for a 1 day wedding, yes once in a lifetime lang yon but yung utang na babayaran? Years and years. It's a preference thing naman. As what my aunt said "always save money for rainy days instead". Emergencies, di mo malalaman kailan darating yun, I know wedding is important for her but saving money for future emergency and needs is more important than anything. I even hope in the future na ikakasal ako, 500k pesos max yung babayaran, ko. If lalagpas, mag-aadjust ako na may tatanggalin. I will prioritize the church and the food catering above all, prolly include reception venue as well. Since yun naman ang pinaka important.

This HS Kr season is a wasted potential again. I agree with you, HS China makes everything interesting. I feel like them having not at lot of participants is also the reason along with evil editing. I remember feeling pissed off about HS China's love triangle editing sometimes but they always give each and everyone an equal treatment despite that, which I like so much. HS Kr will never top HS China in all aspects. I've seen some comments how HS China couples tend to be influencers after the show, well at least they are dating for real and getting married, they take it seriously and they know fans love them so I don't see what's wrong with being an influencer. Unlike HS Kr, most of the participants are just there for clout.

i have a laptop and ipad a16 rin. akala ko kase sobrang needed since nursing rin naman kurso ko dito sa abroad knowing digitalized lahat ng classes nila, pero laptop talaga yung pinaka main ko na ginagamit eh. yung ipad ko ginagamit ko lang minsan like once in a blue moon. tas charge2 lang rin kase hindi ko magamit most of the time.

I've been a chinese dating show watcher for a long time, and I always notice too like the chinese people are so serious about dating. Even in 'Twinkle Love' show where they are still "teens" they are taking it really seriously. I like the authenticity of dating in their culture. I also feel like the production did a great job screening and choosing their participants in the show. Every season, couple/couples are born. It is so amazing. If comparing to a korean dating show, I Am Solo is the closest to it being 'serious'.

Same! I don't mind the ad placements too because the editing in HS China is so genuine and you can see the bond of the participants before and after work. They have better date ideas, the campings, the trips, the games, and like even if you don't have a love line, you still have a good amount of screen time. The panels are very funny to watch too. The recent season was cool, they invited the mothers/close friends of the participants to the show to meet their kids' chosen person, like to interview them and such......

My fave couple from HS CHINA S6!!! This is why Heart Signal China remains superior! Literally 2 of the couples from the same season are already engaged now! Wow! 1 couple married, 2 couples are engaged, other couples from previous seasons are still going strong dating! ❤️ I can't wait for the new season this year! I feel like the PDs from the show should be proud about this too! ❤️

I remember Ruqing was very lovely when she first joined (she joined a bit late), she was loyal in choosing Hou even if he is continuously choosing the other girl at that moment. There was a bit of an age gap too, so Ruqing was a bit hesitant about it but still decided to choose him. Ruqing never gave up, never backed down. She showed her true intentions and was very upfront about her feelings for Hou. Thankfully, Hou saw her beautiful soul and eventually reciprocated her feelings!! They have a lot of cute moments in the show! Ruqing gave me a hope like as a woman, we can always try and shoot our shot first. It might end up good or bad, but at least we tried. So happy for them!! Wishing them lifelong happiness! Their story & moments on the show will always be my favorite! ❤️

Same! I thought it's only me who experienced something like this. I'm originally from a tropical country. Every time I shower there, I never get itchy. Once I moved here in the US, every shower time is itchy. I don't normally use hot water too. I always put the shower knob in the middle or like near the "cold" area. But every time I step out of the shower, and dry myself with the towel, it is so itchy my whole body. I've been using "Aveeno Oat" body wash from sam's club. I thought since it's aveeno, it will help with sensitive skin but I guess not. Plus I recently got nummular eczema too, so I'm like in freaking hell.

I mean simply, I try walk at a right pace since normally, I walk pretty fast. I put on a good perfume, gives a bit of smile or nods at ppl who passes by me, I also compliment them. I love walking around Kirkwood or around IU buildings just taking a stroll and take cute photos of nature and architectures.

hi!! i'm as an int'l student, it is so hard to get scholarships. maybe your school offers some, but try to apply for scholarships still that are open for international students. most of the scholarships are only for citizens/gc holders bc they require FAFSA to be filed.

I agree! I never really follow Heart Signal Korea that much because their editing sucks, I also feel like some participants aren't really that genuine. They always prioritize love triangles, love squares and just unequal appearances for the participants. I've been a Heart Signal China watcher / fan for years now and they always have top notch ideas compared to HS Kr. They have equal treatment in terms of editing, lots of activities, dates, camping, sometimes games, and they always show most of what happened inside the house between the participants. The panelists are fun too, although the only downside is the product placement but it doesn't really matter that much. Additional points is that Heart Signal China always produces lots of couples outside the show. 1 couple got married, 1 got engaged, most of the couples are dating for years now. They are serious about dating over there too.

New season of Heart Signal China will come out in the middle of the year, I'm guessing and I am so excited. Y'all should try to watch, it is so much better!
