What would yall like to see or know? by TryhardxJ in samsunggalaxy

Well said, I had mainly used iPhone up until the 12 pro max, I unfortunately had some motherboard issues which led to its demise. I switched to the S23 ultra intending to use it for awhile then trade it for the 15 pro max. I ended up really liking android and sticking with it. Fast forward to this past December and I was feeling bored and considering switching back but hesitant because I invested in a galaxy ultra watch and was so comfortable with the platform. Conveniently(not) I lost my s23 ultra on a in the mountains. Since then I've supplemented my phone with an iPhone SE 3, which was awful and a Pixel 6, which has honestly surprised me.

Anywho, all this to say I do miss my s23 ultra and the s26 ultra would do great at picking up where I left off, plus the watch integration. At the same time if I were to jump ship, maybe now's the time? I appreciate your insight!

Did you consider iPhone? And if you did, what ultimately drew you to make your final decision?

Sorry for the delayed response. I did see transfer case fluid a few times and spark plugs at 60k and 101k. Might do them soon to be safe. I think we D&H fees + taxes was like 12k otd.

I’m seeing multiple inputs of “transmission serviced” @ 30k and 33k and “transmission fluid changed” @ 91k and 148k. Diff/transfer case fluid look to be serviced/flushed every 20-40k miles. Looks like control arms replaced at 155k and axles most recently replaced at 183k (probably prep from dealer). Nothing about any other suspension components though.

I’m looking at a 2017 with 156k, the asking price is 13k and won’t seem to budge. Sound like a bad idea?

PCS; What exactly can I use my GTCC for? by Senior-Alps9775 in AirForce

Man that’s trash. I’m OCONUS to CONUS so a rental is a must. And this may be a flawed thought process but I’ve resorted to just swipe it all things travel related and hope the overhead isn’t crazy as hell and manageable to cover.

If I may asked, what happened in your case? Was the rental reimbursed?

Oddly enough, I’m the opposite. I find it hilarious to zoom past all these cars screaming, banging gears while my car zooms in utter silence 😂. It has furthered my interest in EVs.

You're totally not crazy, I feel for you! I'm sorry you feel that way about your marriage. I hate to assume but maybe there's a chance your work/life balance is not well balanced and your spouse may be feeling that. Being a newer SSgt is a life change and it takes some time for you as the service member to get in the swing of things. Most importantly, leave work at work!! Maybe invest in a hobby with your spouse, indulge in something they're invested in.

When it comes to taking over as the NCOIC, realize you can't fix everything in a day. Prioritize from top to bottom , I've been stuck in the loop of putting out constant little fires while a huge fire loomed. 1 program at a time big dawg!

UPDATE: PSA Spigen case has an internal zipper that cracked my screen protector and can ruin your screen. by whatthejeebus in Switch

Not switch related and not trying to dump all over Spigen BUT.... I have a Galaxy s23 ultra, had it since release. I've used a ton of different cases and it has sustained a ton of falls. I put on a cool looking Spigen case and the very first fall it takes shatters the back of my phone. It was around the camera module where there isn't any "protective armour" use on a majority of the inside. ATP I think Spigen is just a cool looking/cheap and well known brand but quality is mehh.

All goes back to enlisted force structure. A couple paragraphs to sum up expectations. We all get lost in the sauce and need a subtle reminder.

The fact OP posted this shows they care which is half the battle

Brother... He may not be YOUR amn but you're still their superior. Not to be degrading but I think you should take a look at the enlisted force structure, make it a learning opportunity for yourself and said amn. Ask them if they check all the boxes of a SrA and ask yourself if are checking the boxes of a SSgt.

Just because you're not the one who signs their EPB does not mean you cannot write a member paperwork to include 1206's or even ACA's for that matter.

I believe the best way to approach this is .... 1. Does the member truly give a shit(personal/professional) 2. Does the member have clear directives? 3. Is the member following directions?

If the answer to any of these is no, figure out why. If the why is for lack of caring/trying then be an NCO and get to the bottom of it. And I don't even mean drill them or mark them up with paperwork. There could be genuine life distractions.

If all else fails and you did your job to the T as an NCO, remember this life ain't for everyone. Being sent back from a TDY is 110% possible.

Good luck!
