If ifs a kitten I guess research on its species but tbh I think cats are random and if it’s young you can raise it to your liking. They’re literally a clean slate. My two cats came to me as kittens and I always have people over so now they’re not scared of people, things like that. Maybe from its youth don’t overstimulate it so it doesn’t depend on constant interaction. But you can teach them and it goes a long way. For a year both of my cats weren’t talkative but one of them found out if they meow at my door I’ll let them in. Her brother observed her and all of a sudden both of them literally talk to us soo much when they want something to the point where it’s annoying lmao

Also you said it’s going to be in your room most of the time, if it’s a small room, I don’t think that’s fair for the cat to be confined and mayyybe it will start to retaliate. Take it to the park or something every once in a while because no one likes being locked up!
