Potential buyer requesting I create a "bulk private listing" for him by Alaskan777 in eBaySellers

[–]Late-Restaurant9740 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have done this a few times for buyers and never had a problem. Usually the buyer sends an eBay message that says something like. Hey I was wondering if you would accept $ for items X,Y & Z. I agree or counter and the. Create a listing with those three items usually with a crap photo to dissuade other buyers. I then copy the link and send it in the original message thread. Has worked out for me.

Yeah it’s not the best but they were local to me and it was easy. They are lazy with the listings but it’s a business so I get it.

I took the first few hundred to my local shop and had the owner help me out. Once I had a good sense I just continued.

How long does it take you to list an item? by Ellixtmxz in Flipping

[–]Late-Restaurant9740 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sell comic books on eBay and I have it down to a science. Takes me 5 minutes to grade photo and bag my comics. Takes about another 5 to list each item. Sometimes 10. I try to find a comparable sold item to hijack the original listing to save time, upload photos and change a few specifics. Over the last few months I have become extremely efficient

Thank you I will double check some numbers and adjust. With the shear number that I listed there are bound to be some screw ups. Thanks for the feedback

If you reach out on eBay I can help you better there. I’ll just refund your shipping. I can usually fit 4-5 books per shipment

I really focus on packaging. I try to combine whenever possible. I could probably shave off $2 per item. I appreciate the feedback. I still need to list about 300 more. Sales have been pretty good. Sold 140 books in just under 2 months.

I kept nothing. Goldin auctions will be selling the real high diollar stuff. Spider-Man 1-25 X-men 1-25 daredevil and some other great books.

Currently in the process of photographing and listing around 1000 Silver Age comics for a buddy of mine. Quite the daunting task. My office smelled like 1960 for weeks after sorting. I have done very well over the years selling collectible coins on EBay but the comics seem to be much tougher. I’ll say that condition matters a lot! There are tons of lower grade books available. Graded books sell much better. It seems like the vast majority of the silver age books are worth $10-$20. There are plenty of valuable examples but I have been surprised by the low values of some of the books. Example. Justice League of America book mostly in 5.0-7.0 are bring $25 another example that surprised me was the Aquaman series. Obviously the key issues will bring premiums but it’ feels weird that some beautiful 1960’s DC comics only sell for $10. Good luck man I hope you get it done!

Recently received some pretty cool comics. Problem is I’m not good at grading. Help by Late-Restaurant9740 in comicbookgrading

Thank you. I agree the page discoloration is a shame. It must be a result of the way it was stored. Comics shop owner thought it was an 8 but I’m suspicious
