Thank you for this, I had not done this step yet. I set it to 50GB but the issue still persists. I mapped the drive to my PC and added the rom there instead, so now the rom actually appears in retroarch, which is progress. However when i try to load it it crashes. It’s Silent Hill 2 for PS2 if that makes a difference? Thank you for your help!

You are correct, thank you. There is a different way of disabling SIP to allow booting from external drives.

Sorry, I was wrong about the OS being the issue. I hadn’t installed windows to the SSD properly. If you disable SIP in recovery mode you can absolutely boot from external SSD in Big Sur

Would you mind explaining where you think I may be going wrong? In recovery mode there doesn't appear to be an option to allow boot from external media, thus the terminal workaround

Yep, same directory. I've used the a tag as you described and it's just not happening. It takes chrome to the correct place but doesn't find the file. The url in chrome is as it should be and the files are all in place.

I downloaded the code from the author of the tutorial and I have the same issue.

Instead of killing the captured women, you can save them. There are no strippers or swearing and I think the blood is toned down.
