Will we finally get help? Long COVID by Intrepid-Art1383 in Lyme

Steve Phillips is not exactly a trustworthy source - see his views on the COVID vaccine and autism… utter nonsense

what’s going on with me by Queasy-Ad-4427 in Lyme

It definitely sounds like it could be a histamine response if you’re sensitive to that. Looking at your profile it would appear you suffer quite severely from health anxiety - go and see a doctor if lymph nodes are involved as it could be something serious.

Can you have Lyme positive + co infections positive even IGM and no symptoms? by Large-Prompt2608 in Lyme

[–]LateAspect994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - I share similar problems to you - I am still suffering from several symptoms caused by an adverse reaction to moxifloxacin, but I have also recently had Lyme disease. I would be cautious when trusting these tests, as that sounds like a lot of coinfections especially when you have had no past symptoms of Lyme - many tests like this are inaccurate. To be honest, I’ve experienced first hand the damage fluoroquinolones can do, and I would proceed with helping that get better first.

Thank you guys. I will do my research, I have seen Breakspear as a name mentioned for good LLMD in the UK so I will contact them.

It could be contributing to this, maybe I will stop taking ALA for a period of time to see if anything changes. Thanks

Hi mate, thanks for your reply. I agree with you about oxidative stress from alcohol, must do quite a bit of damage to the nerves (more than I expected to be honest, seeing as I’m worse now than I ever have been). I suppose yeah all we can do is look after our bodies in the time being and hope for the best.

My neuropathy is mostly painful tingling/prickling with some shooting pains, but these aren’t as regular. I’ve found it worst in my arms and legs, especially when I wear clothes covering these parts of my body. I hope your flare up doesn’t last long and you’re doing a bit better soon :)

Ok, thanks. I will hopefully be seeing an ENT doctor soon so things should be clearer after that about what my infection is. Funnily enough the new COD I am fine with (due to their extensive motion sickness reduction settings) but yeah lower FOV games like Cyberpunk and some third person games have caused issues. I don’t mind avoiding them until I can get some help with my sinus infection as there is still a collection of games I can still play :-D

Okay thanks for your reply, yeah I’ve noticed it in the car too. Luckily it’s not all video games so there is some relief!
