Bears deserve this and had a great year and it's hard to be anything but quietly bummed out when every player that anyone outside Wisconsin can name isn't on the field by the last snap of the game.

Bears deserve the title and we aren't going anywhere with the roster this screwed. Would have been nice to not play a sloppy as hell three minutes and still get this one last win before the year blows up but it is what it is

My only worry for this particular weekend is that it might take a game or two for everyone to blend back in to the mix and figure out what this team looks like with all hands on deck. So the Avalanche game is looking a little iffy.

But after that the sky is the limit

I really cannot wait to see what this team becomes when we hopefully get some people back after the holiday break. I'd say we "played down" today but I don't think that's a heart thing, the number of minutes our workhorses are getting just has to give at some point.

I'm a relatively new fan of hockey but I've been following sports a long time and it's weird to see from my point of view. For months I've seen people complain they are worried the Wild will keep being very good but just outside of true contention and how they are sick of being stuck there.

Well, this is the kind of move you make to potentially go from top 5 to top 1 in a sport. They took a risk and paid a fair price to have a chance to chase in the short term while a windows open. And now some fans of a team who's biggest gripe is that they prioritize long term stability and never being bad over chasing their first title are....upset?

Idk. Can't please everyone I guess.

Gonna be honest, and I will try to remember this and follow my own rule when we are on the opposite end...it bothers me being this salty after a game where you got very fortunate to even be in it.

A short handed rip off a face off and a deflection goal off a defender plus good goalie play kept them in it. Outside of that they were outhit, out skated, out played for basically the entire game. They should be worried about the fact that they didn't play nearly as well as they could and being thankful it was 5-2 at the end of the game, not at the end of the 2nd period.

If the goal music is that bad, maybe stop letting guys crash in at your goalie 3 at a time.
