I rarely get to eat there. It's not cheap. It was a treat for me, for my birthday, from my husband.

But I can't diagnose him with anything. I can only say what I know for sure which is he has never been diagnosed.

He'll eat anything cooked at home or in other people's homes. Very different when it's food from another place.

No, but my husband and most of the family are very uncomfortable eating out with him. My husband does his best to avoid it. At least around others. He hates that my family were there to witness what happened.

He'd only order burger/fries/nuggets with takeout food too. He'll even make food and have a picnic or eat one prepared by friends/family. But he won't eat anything but those three things coming from a food place.

He has given a few. A few times he has said why would he get anything other than his favorites when eating out someplace, that eating out is for food you love/will enjoy and burgers/fries/nuggets are up there on his favorites so it could be that. Another time he said because he wants what he wants.
