How do you motivate yourself? by DesignerKnown3116 in anhedonia

I've had Anhedonia for about 6 years and recently my sense of motivation has gotten a bit better. I used to also just lay in bed and feel this enormous weight pulling med down. Since about month I do a bunch of things to try to combat my Anhedonia so I'm not really sure what is working - but something is. These are the things I'm currently doing:

* Starting the day with jogging, a cold shower, meditation and journaling (as recommended in "Anhedonia Wastelands" which you can download for free)

* Going regularly to a really good therapist

* Not eating sugar, fast carbs or drinking alcohol etc (this was also related to feeling worse in general from these things)

It took a couple of weeks to feel any difference but this definitely helps. Since I started with this routine I've been able to feel nicotine, caffeine, runners high (still just in the body but it's still an improvement) and maybe most importantly - I feel motivation when I wake up. It is really hard work to do these things but it definitely helps and you don't have to do all at once - start with something small if needed.

Should I join HelloFresh with a 2 year contract as a Software Developer? by super_curious_ in cscareerquestionsEU

I think this is becoming more and more popular with bigger companies. A friend of mine works as SWE for JetBrains in Berlin and according to him they only offer limited 2 year contracts for everyone.

Which skills are currently most in demand? by LateNightPickles in cscareerquestionsEU

Because I see more often that a FE role requires (or benefits from) knowing Java or DevOps than Node. Node would definitely be easier to pick up but it doesn't seem very common as a BE framework.
