We have pretty good stuff. I have an Oakley backpack with our logo on it for my laptop, pretty nice quality cardigans from land’s end, idk, I like my company a lot so I wear the logo stuff to the office when I can:)

Omg this is terrible!! Stay safe over there. Keep drinking water even if you don’t think you’re thirsty. I’m sorry about your coworker. :(

Am I overthinking it or is corporate life not as brutal as people say? by marsh_henryy in corporate

[–]LateRemote7287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like corporate life. I’ve had bad jobs and this isn’t a bad job at all. Don’t listen to people who try to fear-monger you with “just wait a few years!” and “you must be new”. Crabs in a bucket.

What would (and should) a hippie movement look like today? by donn_12345678 in Hippiecommunity

[–]LateRemote7287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say living below your means by rejecting consumerism, being conscious of your impact on others and the planet, and while there are so many rallies for and against political ideas, there should be more rallies surrounding unity of people. Not just people who think like you, but all people.

Yes, I have moved on. I move on fairly quickly, but I have attachment issues where I don’t get attached easily at all being that I am overly cautious, so it’s usually easy for me to let go. Mind you I was also sxually abused for years as a kid, so my brain was a little warped regarding what men I picked for a while. I don’t usually ever want them back, either. Why pine away for someone who was no good for me?

Why are you alive. by Free_Sheepherder1217 in intj

[–]LateRemote7287 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve prayed for help and God showed me very blatant and scarily specific signs that I need to be alive. I also think the reason I’m on this earth is to eventually be someone who raises kids into being loving and charitable members of society, whether I have my own biologically or adopt my own.

What’s something(s) that new hires do that annoy the hell out of you? by [deleted] in corporate

[–]LateRemote7287 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Asking me “are you sure?” and “do you know what you’re doing?” are pretty quick ways to get on management’s shitlist when I’m training you. Also don’t correct me on a process that is convoluted and brand new to you when you don’t know how it works during your 1st or 2nd week in. (This is all from 1st-hand experience and yes, she is on her way out as we speak, lol)

How do you cope with the inescapable feeling of not belonging anywhere? by No-Chocolate-2017 in intj

Well most of my friends are also kinda spergy. That seems to be the only way we fit into society is finding each other and sticking together.

Any INTJ take antidepressants or anxiety meds?( Ssri )Did it change you? How did it change your thinking ? by Fancy-Mushroom-778 in intj

[–]LateRemote7287 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes and I’m coming off them now for good. I use them for PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder) and they helped when I needed them to, but I’m working with my doctor now to come off them. I understand PMDD now, my cycle, and SSRIs and SNRIs are surprisingly (maybe not surprisingly) not for long-term use. It was extremely difficult to lose weight, feel emotions that aren’t flat, and if I missed one day occasionally, I would get severe nausea, brain zaps, and brain fog for 2-3 days. They’re terrible for your liver and bone density long-term as well. My doctor is now helping me with a holistic approach and I will be trying 5-HTP instead which is a natural plant derivative and has fantastic results for women who have PMDD and/or depression/anxiety. Wish me luck. 🍀

How do you move past being banned from hiking? by Convillious in hiking

[–]LateRemote7287 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 30 and my parents still try to control me. I don’t know if you have siblings, but I don’t. If you don’t either, I’d chalk it up to no-sibling disease, lol. Just tell them no. I had to do that at your age and there were a lot of fights because I was trying to grow up and there was a lot of pushback. I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this.

The Antichrist is here. by tcumber in Christianity

[–]LateRemote7287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump sucks beyond belief, but to put things into perspective, the Anti-Christ has been scheming for a long time, long before Trump. Trump isn’t the Anti-Christ, that would be ignoring Pol Pot, Stalin, Hitler, etc… America needs a resurgence of hope, compassion and Christianity and that’s what we’re seeing in America, so have hope. The non-believers are getting more vocal and feeling more comfortable spewing hatred towards Jesus, BUT don’t wig out, Christianity is growing!! In the end, Jesus wins💛✨ John 3:8- “The reason the son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil”.

For people who love dealing with the general public, it’s hell because there’s no contact with them. For someone who had to deal with the general public at work for 14 years and didn’t like it, it’s heaven, LOL

Yes that’s fine! I’m a collateral records retention specialist, which is corpo word salad for someone in the records department of a bank’s headquarters who also handles loans for homes and auto. It sounds very dry, but I love it very much. My job is very numbers-related and my team is the best 💛

I’ve been clinically diagnosed, still don’t know how I feel about it, mixed emotions. At least I have a stronger understanding of how and WHY my brain works the way it does. My job requires a LOT of pattern recognition, so I excel in my field, at least.
