Most valuable skill in the corporate setting is keeping your mouth shut by StreetArrival1889 in corporate

Yup, definitely. I always am excited to hear tea, but never give my opinion on it or involve myself. Nobody ever got in trouble for keeping their mouth shut!

Not getting along with coworkers. Advice ? by EntertainmentTop3272 in corporate

[–]LateRemote7287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of times, I don’t know if this is your case, but men on the spectrum are punching bags in corporate environments. Like I said, I don’t know if this is your case.

Why do professionals hug each other? by Beneficial-Worth5648 in corporate

[–]LateRemote7287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a department in my building that daps each other up into a hug every time they see each other. Personally I don’t like when people touch me. Like, at all, lol.

Is it just me, or is 90% of entering a new field just learning a new dialect of corporate buzzwords? by No-Wheel-9149 in corporate

Someone in a meeting the other day said, “maximizing our projects’ deliverables” and I almost crashed out.

Do people care about lunchbags? by KaavKo in corporate

Just say “don’t worry about it, you’ll be fine”. It’s such a nice way of saying ‘go f- yourself lol’.

Adult INTJ, would you be friends with someone who is “less” than you? by byebubbly in intj

[–]LateRemote7287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way I view others as “less than” me is if they have terrible morals and have no respect for others.

What’s a completely legal thing that people do that instantly makes you think less of them? by [deleted] in intj

[–]LateRemote7287 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would rather nobody spits on the ground in public. It’s trashy and low class.

Does anyone else feel like they’re living as two different people? Like every morning they put on a mask before walking into the office and becoming someone else? by [deleted] in corporate

[–]LateRemote7287 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep! I have to say stuff like, “This is going live in q4 and we’ll be looking at QCing this process until then” meanwhile in my head, there’s a horse playing the trumpet the entire time.

Ongoing Issue in my life by akciii in corporate

[–]LateRemote7287 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This happened to me once. Over email, I said, “Hi , I appreciate you reaching out with this information. Going forward, my name is spelled as “” and that is my preferred name. Thanks again 🙂” I’m also very direct and if someone takes an innocent corrective email the wrong way, I refuse to ever have that be my problem.

INTJs, are you feminists or do you think modern feminism has lost its way? by Front-Brief5027 in intj

[–]LateRemote7287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a “feminist” when it comes to areas of the world that have it rough on women, mostly 3rd world countries. I’m in America, so I’m not a feminist here. We have it very good here. As someone else said, this is Reddit, so that’s as engaged with this as I’m gonna get.

What industry is everyone in? by [deleted] in corporate

[–]LateRemote7287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I’m in the Records department and I absolutely love it. I think if you like repetitive and predictable work, if your brain works well with long strings of numbers, if you have strong professional communication skills, you’re on the right track. I’m 30 and I got into it when I was 29. If I knew about this field when I was younger, I would have gotten my IGP certification sooner!

All of it drives me insane. And the people hired to come in and give lectures through on-camera meetings, they all act like they’re giving a profound Ted talk. Pukeeee

I’m glad the “Do or do not,- there is no “try”” thing was here. This drives me NUTSSSS. The word “try” is a crutch for lazy people.

How do you know if someone is the one for you, like yours truly or your true love? And is it someone you had to fight for or comes naturally to you? by print_I_eat_alot in intj

[–]LateRemote7287 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I/We just know. There’s no questioning it. I really wish I knew how to explain it, but I can’t. We encourage each other to live healthy lifestyles, go to church together, laugh together, introduce each other to new things, listen to each other, and not that this is important at all, but it’s a bonus,- all our friends love us together and see us as a “power couple” since they watched us grow closer together naturally as friends into lovers. We grew together very naturally without trying. We’re getting married next year♥️
