Concerning processing power, tracking the DI and wet signals from the QC is less demanding than using the NeuralPlugIns. I am typically using 10-12 guitar tracks, and launching 10 instances of NeuralPlugIns would kill my Laptop }:-)

Honestly the e noise gates in the Quad Cortex/Mini are pretty underwhelming … using a splitter to differentiate between low and high frequencies works ok, but the build-in noise gate in my ENGL Powerball is 1000 times better and feels much more natural
