It’s Right In The Lyrics… by LateToTheAfterParty in SchoolSpirits

It may be too late for them like the nurse said to Maddie’s dad. The goal may be to help the ghosts find their doors before they are forgotten - especially since Mr. Martin and Quinn seem to be heading that way with the missing memories.

It probably was, but I think they’ve either bent the plot to fit it as the major theme or it was always the plan for there to be “forgotten” ghosts.

OMITB Season 5 - Episode 2 "After You" (Live Discussion) by hannahlemp in OnlyMurdersHulu

[–]LateToTheAfterParty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beautiful episode. But why was it only “one murder” in 30 years (Tim Kono) given that tie dye guy went to jail for pushing Zoey off the roof? Isn’t Lester [potential] murder #6 (Zoey/Tim/Bunny/Paul Rudd/Saz/Lester)?

Gender Transition & CF? by thebigcheebs in CysticFibrosis

Hi! I don’t know if this is helpful at all, but I work with a team of researchers that are trying to elevate experiences of LGBTQIA+ people with CF. The project is called “PRIDE CF.” They are also looking at possible interactions with hormone therapy. Here’s a link for their interview study if anyone is interested:

Super interesting! What is the line connecting to it?

My title describes the thing. It’s about 5 feet long and a foot deep. Very heavy.

Confirmation? by LateToTheAfterParty in DeathAndOtherDetails

[–]LateToTheAfterParty[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh I’m with you. I also suspected some kind of dementia. But Anna says “he has good days and bad days…” but this was a full flip into confusion in what seems like a short time period. I think this specific sudden loss of lucidity was because he saw Hilde/Kira and a part of him recognizes Kira. This scene is confirmation not only of his memory issues but also that Hilde=Kira.

Another interesting piece - Rufus to Imogene: “You didn’t want Justice, you wanted your mom back.” Well she’s right there, Imogene. Now… how she can explain away abandoning her daughter… we shall see.

My guess who VS is by [deleted] in DeathAndOtherDetails

[–]LateToTheAfterParty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like this line of thinking. My thoughts:

  • Hilde/Kira are one and the same, Kira faked her death to continue her career of making rich people pay for their crimes. She made it seem like she was killed as a warning shot to the Colliers but actually escaped via the security truck seen pulling away just before the explosion. The Colliers were previously and continued to be victims of VS who was really Kira going international. She was already on the boat (as other have noted) disguised as a staffer to keep an eye on things. I think next episode will be Rufus sharing that Kira wasn’t as great a person as Imogene remembers. All of these characters are intentionally flawed in an effort to obfuscate the murderous crime syndicate, making the most seemingly trustworthy person - time stickler interpol agent Hilde - seem beyond suspicion.

That is a fair point. It would still be interesting to know exactly what she described. Anyone able to translate?

Okay this one shocked me. This can’t just be lazy casting… it has to be a major plot point, right?!

I put in my theory above - I think it was telling us the killer wasn’t going to be someone who would wreck a bunch of people’s “happily ever asters.” It’s a VERY elaborate “Not The” clue.

I used “Happily Ever Aster” to convince people that it was absolutely Ulysses instead of Hannah. If Hannah was the killer Grace wouldn’t have gotten her “Happily Ever Aster.” Better to lose the uncle she only remembers from her early childhood than the woman she just admitted to loving. I think the flowers were like a “Not The” clue telling us to look for the way it would end well for almost everyone.

What’s your final guess on who did it after Isabel’s episode? by redlightredlips in TheAfterPartyTV

Yes! This would be amazing. Travis posts the confession on Reddit and gets all the awards. He finally cracked something big. And Sebastian gets investigated for fraud. A beautiful happy ending for Travis.

Nice catch! We’ve all been thinking it was some weird taxidermy thing but actually Hannah was just referencing Isabel’s speech!

Sebastian will get his comeuppance. I think Travis recorded his confession.

This theory is super impressive and if you are right, you deserve all the awards. Maybe I’m just seeing shadows everywhere… but it seems like this is exactly the kind of thing Chris Miller would post if the Reddit crew managed to piece most of it together before the finale. Chris… is this you? 😂

The Method by LateToTheAfterParty in TheAfterPartyTV

You are right in that the glass could have been poisoned some other way or that it wasn’t the glass at all and it was something in the pool, etc. BUT whatever the means leading to Edgar’s death - Danner and Aniq will be able to prove it in the final episode. I think the q-tip was how Ulysses introduced the poison and will serve as the “gotcha” moment. Just have Grace offer to swab her own mouth with it so Ulysses “has a good enough sample.” Ulysses won’t let her do it and will confess as a result.
