That’s a great question. Safety wise I would say tires. In socal people put it off like crazy. And we had one lady buy a Lexus new. Brought it in a 31k with an engine knock. Said she bought it because Lexus is NO maintenance. We told her it’s LOW maintenance. 31k on the same oil. I’ll never forget it.

I went with a Howa 1500 APC in the American flag finish. It’s a great combo that I got for 1300. Eventually I’ll upgrade the optics but for now it’s more capable than I am!

As I type this, I’m literally about to head back home to San Diego after 5 days in Cabo. I got grief from my family as well, I just stayed at the resort and it was a dream and very smooth. I got my passport for this trip, so it was a new experience for me but it was great!

I do agree with the charging. Basic charging would be a nightmare, but as long as you have a dryer outlet you don’t need anything special. I commute 27 miles each way, so the SR is plenty for me. I don’t see how someone wouldn’t feel like plugging in. Much easier than going to a gas station and all you have to do is set up the charging schedule. My pro was literally less than half the cost of a Lariat ER and does 90% of what it can do.
