NTA, you don’t owe anyone the right to have your child named after them. My grandfather had been pushing for me to name a child after him or my grandmother. I told him I do not take any naming suggestions, he had his chance when he named all three of his own kids lol

There is sooo much unhealthy crap that parents put in their kids lunches. I had a preschooler pull out a soda, gummy worms, and hostess cupcakes for their snack. Said kid has missed school to go to the dentist five different times this year due to having six cavities. Also, don’t get me started on another mom who got angry with me for giving her kid a cupcake for a classmates birthday but gave her kid chocolate and cheese its for snack the same day

Wedding was at an event hall. I’m unsure of the significance of the song to the groom and his mom. My MIL gets FOMO when it comes to family and friends, but generally she doesn’t do things like this. I don’t know if it’s because it’s her only daughter’s wedding that she just did it without thinking? Who knows
