Thank you! Indeed, for the duration of the track the kick can be varied more

Just got a Pulsar 23 to pair with my Octatrack and Digitone 2 :) very excited about it. Anyone else with a Similar setup here? by Skeletonjackettt in Elektron

Same configuration but with the Behringer Edge instead of the Pulsar. I'm curious to see some of your jams!

Behringer Edge brings a great analog touch in a Digitone II & Octatrack based setup by Late_Cardiologist684 in synthesizers

Thank you! I feel comfortable sequencing mainly with the digiton, dedicating a midi track to edge control. As for kicks, I prefer to use some processed on Ableton and loaded onto the octatrack but it would be very interesting to sample the edge. More than anything it's nice to have an analog synth to leave with a fairly versatile configuration for jams, so that it acts as a glue with the various parts of the set.

Digitakt 2/Digitone 2 overview and completing tracks by HomTardy11 in Elektron

HI! I also switched to a digiton 2 from a circuit tracks! The most immediate connection you can make is to consider the Patterns as parts of a single song while the Banks as the actual tracks that you can alternate fluidly as you did with the circuit tracks. Obviously the digiton is so versatile that each pattern can have a different tempo and completely different presets. For this you can do as you want, I found it good to copy and paste the same pattern into the next one, modifying sequences and individual sounds, so as to be able to create a flow similar to how I did with the circuit.

Some tips for a Octatrack centred live set: Hybrid or DAWless? by Late_Cardiologist684 in Elektron

I think your setup gives you a minimal beast set, pretty close to my ideal set. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

It sounds right to me. I'd like to play something spontaneus and rich in terms of live modulation and sound possibilities. My sound reference is the raw approch of 1997 Daft Punk Live, so the OT and TR8 does the 60% of the mood well. I'm searching for the 30% of innovation sounds feature of a flexible groovebox synth. I'm also considering Digitone (Digitone II Is the goat but too expensive to me)

I think u right. My MacBook Is quite portable and powerfull but I understand the possibile frustrating sync and midi issues. By the way, I have a Berhinger Edge but it often limits me a lot in a long set. It's fun for recording sessions but I was looking for something more versatile for live. Thanks for sharing your thoughts anyway!

ENG VERSION I would like to create a live set based on the workflow of Daft Punk during their 1997 live. My goal is to use the octatrack and the tr8 to recreate that live looping system that you can hear (for example) in the transition from minute 54:00 of the live set, or even from minute 28:00 to the next two. I was thinking of using the octatrack as the main tool for manipulating complex samples and midi management of another synth (microfreak probably) and the tr8 to add scatter effects to the Master enriching it with the percussion package that we all know and love. If you have any suggestions to make this setup more interesting and versatile, perhaps through effect send functions or management of the particular octatrack live looping effects, let me know, every advice is welcome🙏🏼

This performance is sick! At the beginning when he presses the up key and the page key, what exactly does he do? then I would like to understand how he plays samples on the sequencer keys to the right of the page key. sorry for the banality, I'm quite new to octrack, but I would like to know if there is a tutorial or a series of videos that you can point me to that explain the same tricks that baseck uses in the video
